Thanks for your words Guille. I am indebted to you as well. The things that we do on this forum will continue with PZC through the years and many who do not even know (much less care) who we are or were will benefit!

As for the King Tiger, having the ability to mix and match different variations as with the Panther would be outstanding. Same could be said for Tiger I, Pzr IV and Stug IIIG. So I am looking forward with a lot of anticipation for your King Tiger and the Soviet units you have planned. Life is good on PZC.

Hi Flak! Thanks also to you for your continuous support... I can tell you that last night I finished the base icon for the IS-3 also... And I will "customize" it with some options: a special template to add the external fuel tanks, also there will be two options of the basic icon: With, or whitout tracks sandshields... I am in debt, of course, with you, Akkula and T2_2112 for providing me with such good images to work from!

About "custimzing" the StuG III... you should see (may be you downloaded it) the stuff Asuser developed for that vehicle... enough to make several detailing templates, back in the old, glorious days...

Hi Guille, Yes I have them from Asuser, but the problem is that they are all from the same left facing side. The Panzer IV J are the same way but I guess they look alright when I reverse them in GIMP. Working on major rennovation of details on the Jagdpanzer IV, will also work on the Panzer IV J and Panzer IV H. I'm into the Panzer III and IV chassis for a bit, LOL

ckraiderfan1: I think they are very good units... I prefer the Tiger_II-2 unit because it is more in the same size scale as the vanilla game icons... Anyway, I think you should wait for the King Tiger basic icons I will upload soon, because they look much more like the PzCorps style, and you will have fun adding details to them!

It is a good thing for the game to have a big fan base with the skills to make good new icons, because they add new, positive aspects to this game! Keep up the good work!

A reworked version of the IS-2 (mainly in the roadwheels and gun barrel), skinned with an experimental winter camouflage...

Thanks, Flak! Based on this "master icon" I will re-make the IS-2 pack... Also, I think today I will be able to release the IS-3 pack, made using all the stuff uploaded by you, Akkula and T2_2112!!

I will be watching and waiting for the Soviets. I am reworking the Pzr IV H and J series this weekend, masking it and masking the JagdPzr IV L70 (A) & (V) versions (I have already made the units). Expect to be posting them soon. The PzrIV series has "battle damage" meaning random missing schurtzen skirts in several versions. The PzrIVJ has two versions of schurtzen. The JagdPzr IV L70 (A) & (V) are totally remade and detailed. The L70 (V) is a new version I patched together for missing schurtzen armor skirts and schurtzen skirts. They aren't anything to compare from a standpoint of your units, but they are maybe passable for some players who want some variety in these units.

I am interested in the "damaged" panzer icons. I could use them for the later turns of my new scenario, in case that the germans are on the retreat.
Very nice idea flak.

Ok, guys... Here is the "real deal"

A new, improved, very caringly made pack of IS-3 versions, specially made for those fellows who were asking for it: Flak and Akkula! I really hope you like them!
The pack has some new stuff in it:
- Two versions of the basic icon: One with track sandshields, and the other without them
- Two extra files, to be used as templated, to add external fuel tanks to the basic units (one set of rust-colored tanks, and another with the tanks painted in "soviet green"
Here is the link to download:

Very special thanks to (again) Akkula, Flak, T2_2112, who gently provided me with superb images to work from!!
Some examples of the possible variations using the files included in the pack:

Flak: I am waiting eagerly, for your latest delivery , of your "new generation" icons, which are in my point of view excellent and perfectly made to shine (and seamlessly blend, which is a very good thing for me!) inside the game maps!
Also, some more examples of the IS-3 variants possible:

And here are two more ideas for the "extra" customizing files...
- A commander's heavy machine gun colored in neutral grey (for the people who do not like the AAMG to be "painted" in the tank's base color by the DCS software...
- And a very special wavy flag icon (thanks to RumpNissen who made the flags!!) for a very patriotic unit!!
Here are the files (these files should be included in the "extra" folder that I included in the original unit pack uploaded earlier), and an example:

Wow, beautiful IS-3!. Thanks a million Guille!. I will apply them to my mod at once.
The flag addition was something unexpected and very well received

. With that, my Soviet tank rooster looks how it should, thanks again!.
Now I can´t even imagine the next Soviet releases from you
Best regards.

Thanks for the nice words, Akkula! I am really glad you like the IS-3! It was made specially thinking about yours and Flak's request... There will be more Soviet heavy steel coming soon!!

If you think it could be useful to your mod work, I can make a new "Red Flag" template for every Soviet unit I will be making... It will not tale a lot of work to do that!

I think the Red Flag template is a MUST from now on Guille
