TomoeGozen (Roman) defeats Kraff (Etruscan) 62 - 40.
It was tough for the armoured hoplites of my left and centre who I mercilessly ordered to hack their way across a stream and up a hill but for the most part their heavy armour kept them in the game long enough until my masses of citizen hoplites swept around the right flank. It was a close game all the way through though and could have gone either way.

Kraff (Roman) defeats TomoeGozen (Etruscan) 61 - 44.
The Romans swung most of their troops to the right, and that ecouraged the Etruscans to leave their safe hill and hit weaker Roman troops on the plain below. In the meantime, Roman hoplites slowly gained upper hand on the right, routing their enemies completely, and then managed to get back to the left just in time to reinforce friendly troops holding there. Until just a few last turns the fight was even. Very interesting battle. Thank you, TomoeGozen.
