Thanks, GM. Morbio went on two weeks vacation in Egypt on Aug. 16. That would put him back here next week. I'm sure that map can wait.

I love Tuam in the spring time....
GM - thanks very much for taking on the book keeping.
In early spring a battle was won in Nanotuck - I believe the forces of Englandia are still holed up in their city under seige.
A battle was lost to the invading flying trapeze artists and their horses of Hypoxia in Turnacam - second battle to be fought.
An invasion of Utopia was defeated and on counter-invasion a close contest with the Seleucids of Utopia resulted in a loss in Binnian. To paraphrase the bard - The forces of Tuam are biting their thumbs at the persians from the ramparts of the city.
So one battle won two battles lost.
I had paid for a large building programme and several entertainments for the good people of Tuam.
Is it possible to find out where this is up to?

I have a contested battle with Morbio ongoing this season still, I will look up the results somewhere in the battle section, its a way back, he lost the first one, but at the time we didn't know about peter and waited for the points...and it got lost in the mists of time...
Triarius asked if I would come to his aid and try to relieve Binnian, I will of course, so I will set up a challenge Deeter (you know the points that you have remaining don't you ?) :- PW:- Utopia

Hi Charlie, can you be more specific? The only two battles I can find where you and Morbio were fighting were two battles in Eubiou , Peter was keeping records at this time and they both show you lost both battles
The relief of Binnian will be determined as of hapenning this season (summer), we will see if you army has a rout and can make it in time! stay tuned!

hello Triarus
* cities take time to build, your slaves, I mean union workers, need two full seasons to complete founding/improving cities...
*public works are a little more uh... subtle in effect (you can read that to mean when they take effect is still being deciphered) remember the posted rules do say it takes alot of dough to noticably improve Moral
* you army is patietiently waiting out the siege of Binian and awaiting for relief from Charliechap BTW the siege is considerd to be taking effect in the summer season....
triarus vs davidfagnand Siege

Hmmm.... It appears very early in the season that Tuam (triarius) is besieging New Englandia (davidfagnand)
Did anyone allied with David PM Peter that they were intending to relieve the siege? If so what was the date?
based on the rules what is supposed to happen, is every "turn" a city is under siege tha attacker can : attempt to assault/starve(basically wait) or take by treachery)
asaults/treachery costs $ and each has associated rewards risk****, at the same time an ally can come to the relief of a besiged city but needs to "roll" to get there each turn...
The issue is that a turn is concidered to be when a battle is reported, which means that 27 turns have passed!
I think the farest thing to do is consider the siege started at the beginning of this new season Summer.... It shoudl really have no impact and will allow us to get esults of the spring in a little quicker
So, did anyone indicate they were coming to the aid of New Englandia?
Once that is determined then Triarus will have to indiate whether he is assaulting , starving or tricking his way into the city!

I think if you look at your own post you will see that you defeated Deadtorius in his province of Brian

The forces of Morbious are still undefeated in battles against the Delian Confederacy

All,
I believe the map is now up to date based on the posts from the last couple of weeks. The latest version is here
viewtopic.php?p=150903#150903
Please note that my inbox got full during my holiday so it is possible I missed some PMs and there were lots of posts on the forum while I was away, so in my skim-reading I may have missed some or made some mistakes so please bear with me if it isn't 100% accurate. Thanks.
Please post any discrepancies that you find. Thanks.
jimcdaw: Please note that you need to name your provinces and nominate one as a capital.
GrayMouser: I think Peter normally gives a new member a bit of latitude regarding city building so that they can either build cities a lot quicker (maybe instantly) or allow them to start building outside of the normal build cycle.

Are you refering to you own city under siege ? If so , then no, only an ally can send a relief army, they just need to let me or Davouthojo know (normal allies can refuse but a blood ally must march!)

Please PM davouthojo with any formal alliance you wish to enter into, and the details of any PR builds you wish to make to boost your nation's morale (large statues of your good self for instance)

Just to kick the diplomacy season off, being short on cash, but long on terrifying armies of war, Clan Braveheart will be delighted to enter into formal alliance with any nation, with the expectation of a purely nominal present of 200 gold to seal the deal.

I'm quite fond of men in colourful skirts

So I will pay the 200 Ringit and offer a formal alliance with Clan Braveheart.

2) 450 point IF Galatians attacking 500 point defenders in Thera
3) 450 point SOA Medieval Irish attacking 500 point defenders in Wasteland
Go on, test your generalship, after all it's too easy beating him at parity, try a 50 point disadvantage......
Slave Revolt against the Romans - thegreymouser
4) 450 point Spartacus Slave revolt army attacking 500 point defenders in Roma
No impact at all on the general's empire - these are guest general positions......
When volunteering, please state which battle you are taking, post the challenge and inform iverson/mouser
First come first served....going......going.......
I'll take the 2nd - The Galatians in Thera - onward with plunder and death to the horrid Horde!

I would to challenge Mr Fafhrd sorry the other The Grey Mouser. I will post an PM password.

Oh and thanks for taking over the campaign.
