yes, I would also like to play for Armenians and so on, but for some reason the author does not give instructions on how to connect cards from the mod as separate scenarios with the possibility of playing for different sides of conflicts )

As the publication reminds, during the days of the capture of Kabul by the Taliban in August 2021, 22 military aircraft and 24 helicopters (Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano, UH-60 Black Hawk, MD-530, PC-12 and Mi-17) illegally crossed the airspace of Uzbekistan, in which there were 585 armed servicemen of Afghanistan.

Hello Akkula, give us version 2.0 in the future, with new scenarios of past and hypothetical modern conflicts. Middle East (Israel-Iran (Hamas, Hezbollah), China - USA (Battle of Taiwan), Russia - Japan / USA (Battle of the Kuril Islands), Argentina with a new president, and the Brix countries
taking back the Malvinas Islands against Nato would be fun. Good luck and good luck in your modding.

I would really like to have a 2nd Korean war (Korean war in modern times = North Korea + China vs South Korea + USA).

Hello guys!
Ok, time to give you some updates about the state of the mod.
Yes, I am working in Update 2.0, however, it's going to take SEVERAL months to be ready for release. As the title suggest, 2.0 will be a milestone in Modern Conflicts.
In the coming weeks/months I will post some sort of "roadmap" about the direction of the new phase of the mod. But for now I can share with you a very high level overview about the new additions:

WW3 Story
Three new campaigns expanding the story of the WW3 timeline of Modern Conflicts.
- One large campaign: an extensive campaign, about 22-24 scenarios
- Two medium campaigns: 12-15 scenarios, however I could expand them during the development if everything goes well.
Which nations will be involved, story, etc, I will disclose later. Too early to tell :P

Historical Campaigns
One large historical campaign. Maybe 20 scenarios, more or less.
As the previous point, too early to disclose additional info about this.

Fantasy Campaigns
There are some ideas on the air, not developed yet. But I am quite sure that new fictional and crazy stories will arrive to Modern Conflicts in 2.0.

Standalone Scenarios
I have several historical and fictional standalone scenarios in my mind. Can't say which ones will make it to the early versions of 2.0 as the priority are the WW3 campaigns.
But don't worry, they will make it to the mod, eventually.

Grand Scenarios
- One historical grand scenario. Fully scripted, playable for both sides.
- One fictional scenario. Same as before.

UI/Others
Time to change the face of the mod :D
Some improvements for the menus and other aesthetic stuff.

....and of course, LOTS of new units for all nations! 8)

As you can see, Update 2.0 is going to be a big one and it will require LOT of demanding work from me, but it will worth the wait.
And of course, I will release the new content through the different updates to keep the wheels turning.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Great news, it's sad that the truth is that everything will not be fast) But I believe that the first socialist war between Vietnam and the PRC awaits us + The Battle on Daman Island 1969)))

Hi Akkula. Hallo Friends.
It is always a pleasure for me to read that you are "full of new ideas". My respect and "a deep bow". But please don't forget: Christmas is just around the corner. So don't forget peace, friends and family.
A little joke: Advent, Advent 1 little light is burning. First 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, and when the 5th light burns, you've missed Christmas. :-)

All the best
Hans

One thing I would love added would be ATGM infantry. Just a more dangerous version of RPG infantry but more expensive. Could act as the midpoint between rpg infantry and atgm vehicles.

The Iran-Iraq War of 1980-1988, in terms of its scale, duration and level of losses, is, along with the Korean and Vietnamese wars, one of the three largest local wars of the second half of the twentieth century.
Now you can depict the war between Iran and Iraq 1980 -1988 :) Since there are units for the sample of the 90s for Desert Storm 91) The Iranian Shah was a big fan of Western technology and bought everything from the USA, France and England, then he was overthrown but the equipment remained))) So it just remains to repaint the flag and voila, there will already be Iranian technology ;)

Since we'll be waiting a good bit for the next update, I'd suggest downloading the mod of this mod that increases the difficulty of the NATO campaign by adding new enemies and units with hero's. It really adds some flavor to the campaign. For extra difficulty, put both your units and the enemies at plus 5 strength for some really heavy battles and unit losses.

Hello, thank you for great update! I found some issue in editor, it is impossible to attach transport helicopters to infantry. It is about Turkey other nations are fine.
