I’m also player A in my section. By the pure semantics of the instructions of the 4 games I’m playing, im playing 2 games as the poles versus teutonics and two games as the Russians versus poles... I never get to field the teutonics...

Whether that is the intent or not, I believe that is the pure meaning in the sentence structure in the rules. Too bad as the knights list seems like a fun list to play ( although it seems like a pure fantasy list at that)

I have not done the best possible draw for round 3.

I suggest that player a sets up a new battle against player b, using teutonics 1494-1542 against poles 1494-1524

That way we each play once with each of the 4 armies.

awesum4 with 1494 Teutonics beat Dilly with 1494 Poles, 8% lost to 44%, so 9 points to 0.

On a rather open battlefield Dilly tried to maneuver across my front and then sweep around my left flank. A rapid advance caught several units of massed crossbows in isolated patches of rough going, they were shot up then charged in the flank and the front. My Cossack and tartar light horse rear charged individual units of hussars who then had to stand and fight, once isolated they were quickly dealt with by pike and knights. Turning my left wing knights and pike held up his advance destroying more units and breaking his army.

Dilly with 1630 Russians beat awesum4 with 1633 Polish, 39% loses to 60%, so 8 points to 3.


Initially I managed to beat his cavalry and some of his light horse and some of his musketeers. But eventually the shooting from his pike and shot supported by musketeers blew my army to pieces. A well deserved win to Dilly for his masterful use of infantry blocks.

A wild battle in which the Polish cavalry broke the Pike and Shot center of the Russian army through firepower followed by charges. Versatile Cossack light horse and fierce bardiche armed musketeers saved the day.

If the battle had actually gone on longer, I could have lost, as I had little answer to the Russian massed musketeers tearing the guts out of my center. Luckily my cavalry rolled up the enemy right before it could matter.

Not sure about others but MP is barely working for me since last Thursday. I was able to get a game with PB uploaded but my next would not upload ( game w Youngr) and I got warnings that since I saved multiple times I was going to be reported to the Slitherine secret police. So, I will be delayed until Slitherine officially sorts this out, likely after the weekend.

The server has been shite for days. I would manage do 1 move each day then give up in frustration. Had to make several attempts before I could even access the forum.

It was better last night. But still had to end each move several times until I got the message to cancel the move and save for the future. It later sends the move away and your opponent can then do his.

But it's definitely a frustrating process

Yeah, I've just given up playing for now, just monitoring the forums to see when it's all up and running again.
