This is the second part of the playtest of Bessarabia. Starting from turn 7 until the end and yes, i found an oversight that makes it impossible to earn a Triumph. That is why i also take notes when playtesting and then back to the editor to fix and tweak some stuff. And as you will notice, i deliberately used some auxiliaries as bait to lure out some of the enemy units.

It's a what if scenario in case Norway and Sweden would have allowed transit of British and French troops:

During the early stages of World War II, the United Kingdom and France made a series of proposals to send troops to assist Finland against the Soviet Union during the Winter War, which started on 30 November 1939. The plans involved the transit of British and French troops and equipment through neutral Norway and Sweden. The initial plans were abandoned because Norway and Sweden declined transit through their land for fear that their countries would be drawn into the war.

The scenario is called Avon Head and will be part of the next update of DLC 37-41.

I find it pretty strange that this question comes almost five years after i created this scenario. So, i had to dig rather deep from where the inspiration came for this opening scenario.
Yes, the idea came from the Kama tank school. But because of the date of this scenario i had to make something up to create an excercise between player's staring core army and a training adversary.
For creating the map, i took a region nearby Kazan called Bol'shaya Yangasala.

I think the briefing i wrote for this mission should be a possible explanation.

Comrade General, may I see your transfer papers? Good,very good, everything seems to be in order. Welcome to Bol'shaya Yangasala. I have been assigned to you as your political commissar for the duration of your military career in the Red Army. I am about to share some background information with you.
The Germans had a training facility near Kazan until a few years ago. As you should know, our way of true socialism is not the way of national socialism. Our ideological differences led to the closure of this facility. Luckily, for the sake of the war game that i have prepared, we acquired German military equipment through different channels. You have been selected by Stavka for this field training exercise.
I must also notify you about the price of failure, just like the Comrade General in charge of the opposing force. There are rumors, that the big boss is to gravely cut in the number of army officers. You have been warned.
In this field exercise training, the forces under your command must outsmart the "enemy" and destroy their panzers. This is your chance to prove that Soviet tanks are superior in many ways to their German counterparts. Good luck.

Thanks for the effort and help but this super early version was merely to test the core import of the first DLC 37-41 into DLC 42. Then i took a (too long) break from the project.
Those files are outdated and thus no longer actual. For example, DLC 42 will not start with Demyansk pocket.
More info as work progresses will be posted here and on Streitmacht.

I will start it from scratch now - I will get back to the Italian campaign afterwards.

As I remember there are no capturables in this campaign, or do I remember it wrongly?

The development of DLC 42 update news:

A small update about DLC 42.
Four scenarios have been created, two require still a playtest and possible tweaks.
Those scenarios have been named: Gorky, Demyansk42, Izium, Fredericus. A triumph at Gorky will allow you to chose between Demyansk42 and Izium scenarios, a victory will continu the campaign at Izium.
There will be a few capturables in DLC 42, there will be two new heroes but later more about that.
