Bloody battle where Protestants skirmishers took the initiative at all times.
I could gather lines as I approached the enemy hill. It was a very difficult position to take, while on my right flank their skirmishers fought freely. Before the assault try to end the Protestant cavalry . At that moment the Germans began their assault on my lines . We could barely contain thanks to the Tercios Viejos, but skirmishers were hitting us hard and each turn passing the casualties numbered by tens .
Extremely close battle where either could take the win . But this time and the minimum was taken by the Spaniards.
Good game Richard !

Flatsix518 (Spanish 1635-1648) (20%) won vs susji (French 1635-1642) (53%).
Sushi threw a hard right hook at my left flank that remained a threat throughout the entire battle. Unfortunately for Susji, I developed some counter-play on the opposite flank and began rolling it up. At the same time the tercios did what tercios do and crushed the French center.
Thanks for the game.

Guillaume (Scots Covenanter 1642-1647) 12% defeat Susji (Royalist 1645-1648) 44%

This damaged your eyes: translation by google:
"The Scot, deployed units leveraging the coverage hedges in the middle, both sides had paths hills. I attacked with the bulk of my cavalry on my right, but the Scottish infantry suffered no trouble in rejecting me, I could only beat a couple of units ... and the Left feints and tried to distract a few units, central exchange van always favored the Scots, who eventually stormed my line with great success. I do not know, I acknowledge that I am very tactically useless, but I see no future in the cavalry ..."

rumguff (German Protestant) 2% victorious over deadtorius (German Catholic) 46%
Rumguff played very well using his overwhelming numbers to stretch out across most of the map and I was afraid of getting my own forces split so spent most of the game stationary trying to figure out how to move against that line without getting my flanks swarmed. I congratulate him on the most effective use of artillery I have seen in any game, he managed to break an early tercio with artillery fire alone. With my tercio broken I decided to just rush forth and engage and prepare for the inevitable. However luck was on the side of the Protestants as neither Catholic shooting or combats could match the pounding the Protestants were handing out.
A well deserved victory he controlled the entire game and I doff my dented helmet to his superior play. Congratulations fine sir.
Lessons learned and I hope I dont forget...
