Here comes some Italian stuff, a pimped up version of the AB 40 with new exhauster, wheels, jerry cans, tools and antennae pole:

Inspired by phcas Radio Trucks it could also use as a improved reconnaissance unit with unfolded antennae:

Thanks Akkula ... and if you need it too, here is another mortar unit for the Russian troops. In reality there were eg. small mobile crews with a 82 mm mortar on a motorcycle (M-72 or a land-lease Harley) with sidecar to support assaults near the frontlines. The unit could be switchable for transport and fight mode:

It must be getting time to update my unit files again.
If you convert the smg to an Owen gun with its distinctive top loading magazine - very reliable in jungles, deserts and mud - they would be even more distinctively Australian.

That's excellent. As you say, it's the little details that can make a big difference.

Wow!!!. Very unexpected and pleasant surprise
The icons look beautiful, I like the idea a lot and I want to include it into Soviet Storm. Thanks a million friend.
Just a question: how do you think mortar units should be implemented?. With this one and Guille´s heavy mortar I want to expand the Soviet rooster but I dont know how: infantry or artillery class?
Best regards.
Akkula.
PS: sorry not to thank you before but I was quite busy and disconnected from the modding world

Pleasure on my side...fine you like it also.
I would say it belongs to artillery class, because it's more a wide range heavy weapon and the crews aren't so experienced in short distance fight like pure infantry...
...so be patient, if you use it near the frontlines without infantry coverage.
By the way ... the icon isn't ready yet. I have to retouch the shadows a little bit...

Yes phcas, I have it. It's a work by my own.
But if you need it for further variations, I will send it to you with PM, no problem.

The Australian army captured 1941 a few Italian M13/40 tanks within various battles in the Africa campaign and use them against the opponents. Interestingly there were additional accessories like jerry cans, tent roles and special markings on these tanks like a high flagged pole and a kangaroo on both sides:

Thanks for the Moto Guzzi! Finally, the Bersaglieri got their proper mount now. And for those who want to take them to the dunes, I repainted the bike in desert color. Enjoy!
