The only way to do so is by clicking on the next icon or by clicking outside the range of the airplane. Hope this helps... best of luck and thanks for reviving the past...

The "sleep" button (Zzz) does the trick as well.

Is there a version of the patch without the automatic installer?
I would like to have the chance to use JSGME to add it in case things don't work the way i like it.
Thanks a lot in advance
EDIT: No worries I've managed to sort it out

Any updates on the patch?

Still hard at work?

Didn't expect it to take this long? You guys are not smuggling any new features are you?

Good question... I would really prefer them to just fix it, new features are great, but getting a working version is more important.

Gentlemen,
my troops are stuck close to Stalingrad waiting for the patch to let the offensive continue. There are similar reports from my corps at the italian front, too.
Are there any - cheerful - news for the troops regarding the patch for the Grand Campaign?
Greetings!

The game is busted and they can't find the right spare parts anywhere, all the wholesalers are completely out of stock. Looks like a complete new engine is required.

Yeah, some little more info on what's exactly going on (problems with fixes, new stuff etc) would be appreciated...

Thanks, VPaulus. Although your message is not that much different from your last one...
Well, I know it is an unpleasant task to bring news like that, but as a mainly GC-player I am impatiently waiting for the release...
Would it help if I promised buying "Allied Corps" as soon as the patch is working?

The patch is generally working fine with Allied Corps, that's the trouble, we were testing it together with Allied, and nobody thought to run GC as Allied was all new and exciting

Thought I'd check in if there was any more word on when the fix might be ready? Some word on just what the major problem is that is taking so long to fix? This is getting kinda disappointing.

The mayor problem is time. PzC series iPad port is taking a lot of time and some localization and installers for retail have to be done first... nevertheless it is on the list and will be fixed. Just give Alex some time...

This is understandable, but unless I'm mistakes the current situation is rather strange, Allied corps includes 1.20, which doesn't work properly with GC, so we have different campaigns working with different rule set... I'd think sorting this mess out would be a good idea before new platforms are added

I just wish that this information would have been posted a bit earlier and not two months after the 1.20 release. For quite a few number of customers like myself any of the DLCs is not playable with 1.20. My understanding was, it's being worked on, from what I read work hasn't even started yet.
I am really the patient type but things like the broken 1.20 patch which a lot of people are really waiting to get fixed, informing your customer base about possible delays in a reasonable time frame is something I would have appreciated.

My last communication with Alex was 4 weeks ago and he was still working on the patch for PC and at the same time was working in the iPad version. It's possible that meanwhile he had given priority to iPad version in the last two weeks before Historicon. It was crucial to have something from iPad version to show at that event.

Patch 1.20 is not so broken as you seem to point. What is basically broken are "only" some new features that aren't working correctly only with GC. You can still play GC has you have been playing since it came out.

I'm sorry but here I have to agree with Resolute. To me the game is currently broken. Several people suggested manual fixes to bring stuff up to specs for playing GC with 1.20, then Rudankort said that was not a preferred solution since the issue was deeper.
And now after all this time you tell us that the patch may not be worked anymore because an event had to take precedence... I have worked in the industry and I realize that such events are important... but I have to say that this entire patch 1.20 thing is the first time that I am really dissapointed in Slitherines way of communicating with the community and I would request that this tendendy is swiftly reverted.
There has been quite a number of players, myself included, who have put the game on ice, waiting for the patch to arrive, to a large degree due to Rudankort's recommendation to do exactly that. To hear now that nobody has been working on the patch anymore because iPad has priority and that without informing us... is disturbing.
I realize how stuff like this can happen but I would like to point out that I from my position as a customer feel VERY negatively about this misscommunication and I just think you gusy should know that so you can talk internally how to avoid stuff like this in the future.
Anyway, still looking forward to the patch and Soviet Corps, but this patch 1.20 thing seems to have been one giant communication problem. First apparently there was a comm problem between devs and testers regarding testing Allied Corps and its patch with the GCs (which should have had some priority considering a GC mega pack had just been released which now doesn't work with the patch (players not visiting the forums and just auto-updating the game will after all not be aware of this)), then the misscommunication regarding what the problem really is. Also there was never a press release or any message to the player base that the 1.20 patch was a problem, even though I hear it was at least pulled from the auto-update? I haven't heard any official statement regarding that either though, but I may just have missed it.
And now that entire iPad Historicon issue.
I understand that events are hugely important, especially when working in a specific niche. But that can't be an excuse to let communication with the playerbase regarding a big problem (and to players like me it is obvisously a big problem) degrade like this over a couple of months.
So yeah, maybe we as players haven't communicated enough how big a problem some of us consider this to be also.
I just hope this will be resolved soon and it goes back to the great communication that happened here in the past. I'm guessing the PzC team may have had a few too many releases, events and platform ports at the same time
