ckraiderfan1....................Of course they did not capture many of them, but nevertheless they did capture some. Of course they NEVER captured a T34-100 because that tank did not exist. It's a game don't ya know?????!!!!

Lovely.
And indeed, although in fewer numbers than the T-34/76, some T-34-85s were captured by the Germans and put in service. And there is a case in which a 88mm gun was mounted on one (from a damaged Tiger), in the east Prussia I think, late war.

Hi, guys!!
Akkula: I have found some references about the "Courland Tiger" which was a T-34/85 upgunned with a 88 L/56 gun supposedly taken from a disabled Tiger I... But, as far as I could find out, it was something entirely fictional... Even, I don't know if the adaptation was technically feasible, because of the possibility of the T-34 turret and chassis not beig able to absorb the bigger recoil of the 88 mm gun. Nice concept, but a little too far on the "what if" side for my taste, if I am asked...

Ok, and here is a real T-34/100... This conversion was made by the Egyptians in the post war era... They cut down the T-34-85 turret and enlarged it with light armor plating, and mounted a 100 mm AT gun on it... In fact, this vehicle is out of the PzCorps time scope, but it would have been possible to make a similar conversion with the resources and late WW2 technology... so this would be a nice "What if" unit. I would only change the wheel types for this vehicle, because this chassis has the "spider-web" wheels which were manufactured for the post-war refurbished T-34/85 tanks... Otherwise, I think it is a feasible, "what if" conversion for the Soviet Army in the late war time frame...

Thanks Guille, Yes I had come across this version before from Egyptian tanks. It is surely clumsy looking for a T34, no clean lines. But surely a nice addition to the game. Thank you.

Oh yes, it looks as something made with a lot of haste and out of necessity... but well, war is a dirty job!

Thanks for the Soviet camo pack and for the nice words!

Here is one more fantasy Soviet that would have been a remarkable tank........the KV 220 100. Forgot to add barrel shadows on the first units. Now corrected with units and masking unit.
Glad you like the Courland Tiger Guille.

Oh yes!.
Amazing Courland Tiger (I didn´t knew it was called like that).... right into The Great Patriotic War stuff
And what an unexpected surprise that KV-220-100, along with Guille´s KV-220-76 and KV-220-85, it will be part of the special Soviet units of my project

. The Egyptian monster is fantastic Guille, what a surprise.
Thanks a lot for all those amazing new units guys!.
Best regards.
Akkula.

Akkula, my work is all pleasure my friend. I could not envision a mod
WITHOUT a T34-100 or a KV 100. I know they did not exist, but they are just neat units and easily lend themselves to "what if" scenarios. I hope you like the "cleaned" side KV unit. I did them all and they will be in the pack with colors and masks. I never really considered working on Soviet units much until your mod came along and now they are as much fun to do as German units.

That KV 220 is a monster tank. As a 100 it could be quite a Tiger killer.

Here is a fantasy unit that was a real possiblity. I think they even made one for trials. The IS1 100mm. The 100mm gun is easier and quicker to reload than the 122mm in the IS2. And the 100mm is a devastating anti tank gun. This type of unit could carry more ammo than an IS2, fire quicker and probably have almost, if not as much, firepower against armor.
