If it's a custom equipment file with custom units it won't work.

I just discovered this because I am re-playing the DLC 1942 campaign in Stalingrad right now.

Hi Robert.
Just to be sure, I've installed Panzer Corps in my new partition with Windows 8, installed DLC 42 and DLC42-43 West (to install patch 1.11). Copy Redux 1.11 and loaded Stalingrad Ruins. Both movement and attacking sounds were working well.
Try to copy Stalingrad Ruins from your DLC folder and copy to My Games\Panzer Corps\Scenario (create this one if you don't have it already). And load the mission as a single scenario and check it.

Hi VP,

It works but I know what was wrong.

I used Mod v 1.10 + update 1.11 and I had this issue.
I removed the whole mod and downloaded your mod v 1.11 directly.

I strongly advise you to remove v 1.10 and mini update 1.11 (hotfix).

Just using full mod 1.11 and everything works fine.

I've just checked 1.10 with update 1.11 (it's the same file as the hotfix) and I hear the L40, Robert. Could it be, that you unziped to the wrong folders?
If I have only 1.10 installed, then there would be a problem because the L40 (unit file) was renamed in Panzer Corps patch 1.11.

Now everything works fine except the He 129 (tactical bomber): I have the attack sound but not the moving sound.

I have now an issue with PzII Luchs, the German recon unit.
Sometimes sound is played and sometimes not.

I am playing the 1944 DLC vs the Soviets.

I try many units to test the sounds in fact.

Just for curiosity: your FW 190D (fighter bomber) has a motor engine far different than the engine of the fighter FW190 A, was it the case in reality ?

When I listen to the movement sound of FW190D or F, it seems I listen to an old engine of a V1 or an engine of a very old aircraft who has lived more than needed... :)

Maybe this is normal, just a question...

For the rest the more I use the mod the more I appreciate it!

I used three sounds for Fw-190. Those three sounds were taken from three different videos using three different replicas. I pick the sounds randomly, for the three models, with no special criterion.
Note one thing, FW-190's used radial engines. Radial engines sound usually more like the second and the third sound than the first. The first sound (FW-190A) sounds more like a V engine than a radial. :P

But don't confuse with a V-1. The pulsejet engine have a very different sound:

Isn't there a contradiction ?

Either the three sounds are used at random in game or each plane has its preset sound.

According to me sound of FW190A is always the same (V engine sound) whereas Fw190D (radial sound) has also a unique but different sound, so there is nothing random but preset sounds per aircraft type.

OK wrong comparison with the V1 but the 190D engine sound made me think about the strange bicycle sound of V1...
