It's one of the best candidates for being the indie of the year. 100% old school gaming.

Log is not all that bad for a small budget indie game. It has it's flaws and a somewhat clunky UI. It's no Dungeon master as far as game play, but it shows the young-uns what a dungeon crawler is all about.
Nice try though, Almost Human almost had it.

I've played a little, and it reminds me 95% Dungeon Master.
From several user reviews that I've read, the only aspect that some gamers don't like it's the combat. But that's the problem when we've in our minds that only turn based combat is a good combat mechanic.
In my opinion, Almost Human were able to succeed.

Btw, you can now buy into the P&C Carrier command beta for £15. I did, and I can tell you that it is pretty awesome.

I'm a big fan of OFP/Arma series. So naturally I've already bought CC through BIS "Play & Contribute" .
It seems to be quite interesting. But I need to read the manual first, and I haven't had time for it.
I've never played much the original.

I'm actually bummed out.
I have loved the whole Battletech universe since it 1st came out in the 80's.
When we were on rapid deployment lockdown my platoon would actually have tournaments with the old board game (I used to reach out and touch people w/ the Archer).
I have owned everything that was Battletech (books,games..etc) related until this.
I don't have the time nor the internet connection to be playing online, guess this is the end of the road w/ my love affair with BattleTech.

BattleTech lives on in our hearts, no matter what becomes of its games.

Dude ,,I picked up on that the 1st day I joined the forum. I also noticed the Thor model you had in the fake screen-shot thingie a while ago.
I'm more of a Northwind Highlander man.
Long Live the Jacobites and the Blackwatch!!!!.....Death to the Capellans and the House of Liao.
Maybe someday somebody will make a BattleTech mod w/ PZC or some developer w/ make a MechCommander 3

I don't know the game all that well, but the BA engine feels like it would suit a Mech game down to the ground. Hell, we even had someone building some alt-history Nazi Mechs at one point

. You can simply write a whole new set of model rules and away you go. A lot of work I imagine, but just putting it out there.
Cheers

Carrier command is my first Bohemia Interactive game, and I must say they seem to make a pretty cool game.

So you don't know what you've lost without having played Operation Flashpoint. Personally, it's probably the best computer game I've ever played, in both ways SP and MP.
But the good news is that you can still play it's spiritual successor, ArmA II.

@VPaulus: Did you get your "Legend of Grimrock" ?
I'd like to know the download size please, 'cause my DSL line is rather sluggish (~ 240 kByte/s).

Yes.

The new version 1.0.0.12 is around 478MB.
