Match 4 (Very Crowded):
Illyrian Petran1978
51/72
vs
Illyrian Deadtorius
83/83
A nice tough one. The battlefield was divided by a river thus for the first 3-4 rounds both armies didn't move... a lot.... After that
a few skirmishing actions, turned into a full blown melee. Unpredictable rushes, bad dice, a few bribes to the right people and Pyrrhus team won.
Thanks for the fight mate!

Thanks to all for another great Companions Cup and congratulations to team Alexander for winning!
I'd also like to thank the 4 captains for organising their teams and helping to make this a success. Thanks!
I also value the feedback given regarding how we can improve the format and I'll include the 'no cvil war unless match 5' constraint into CCIII.
I'll publish the details about CCIII soon, so if the captains would like to start thinking about their team composition now then that would help. If any of them want to change their own role regarding captaincy then please let me know ASAP.

Well done, Petran!
Pyrrhus's armies are still alive and kicking!

On behalf of the ROW team, thanks for organising morbio!
In true Ryder Cup tradition, I think it appropriate for the Captaincy to rotate (enabling me to bow out at the top as captain

and celebrate my first win as player in 4 tries

) - can I invite any of the other ROW players to step up to the heavy responsibility as captain?
As for format suggestions.....as well as terrain, flex the size of matches across the 5 games........and do other expansions than ROR (morbio, get your pocket book out.....you know it is inevitable.....)

Want to add my thanks as well.
I do as davouthojo and offer the role as captain to anyone interrested. I'm happy to stay as a player but fresh blood in front seat can often be good.
If no one steps forward I'll go on, of course

Same here, would enjoy remaining as a player but have no issue if one of my fellow North American teammates wants to take control of the bridge:)

Thanks Hojo for being our inaugural captain. You have done the hard yards and captaincy from now on will be a breeze, so in that context I will step up to the role for the next match. The captaincy I think should change with every match so ROW teammates its one of you next time.
Dear team let me know if you are available for the next Cup.
