Hi All

I've got a bit of a problem in my current game against Erik2. It's the start of my German turn 10 and the only units that I can act with are the 2 Fallschirmjager who are airborne by one of his HQs. I can select other units but not act with them until I click on one of the FJ. After that, all I can do is select either of the FJ units.

After I have paradropped both FJ, THAT's IT! I can't do anything else - not even exit the game properly!

I couldn't drop directly onto the HQ hex so I assume there is a unit in there but this is not visible, even with 2 infantry units next to it.

I've reloaded twice and get the same issue. Has the game been corrupted? Any ideas please?

Erik, have you seen any oddness in the same game?

I can ask the developer to try and download the scenario to take a look at it?

I have not used any para units, which seem to be the issue here.
So nothing odd on my side.

Tapirman, can you do a screenshot from the start of the turn?

It's very strange, I've never come across anything like this before in OOB. I've verified the game files on Steam and everything is OK there. Erik's turn playthrough runs fine for me, the problems only seem to start when it's my turn to do anything so maybe it's something on my end.

Shards, a screenshot of my turn start is below (I've just closed down the turn overview but not clicked on anything yet).

As an aside, do adjacent AA and Fighter units affect paradrops as the FJ were pretty much surrounded? I've never faced such opposition for a paradrop!

Yeah, this feels like a very odd bug to me.

I'll ask the developer to get in touch on Monday to see if they can see what's wrong

Might be a weird question but someone was asking me if it's possible to have 2 vs 2 games in the tournament. Kind of seems like a neat idea actually, although I'm unsure how it would work exactly.

Hi Tapirman, we are unable to reproduce this bug on our end and I got some questions that might help us.
Firstly, you said that you can't even exit the game properly, what happens here ? also, you tried to pass the turn to Erik ?
Secondly, could you enter the match, click on some units that should be clickable and after that close the game entirely and pass the output_log.txt to us ?
You can find it in "C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\The Artistocrats\Order of Battle - WW2"

If you can't find AppData folder (wich is a hidden folder by default) you could do the following things:
If you are on Windows 8/10 you just search in the windows search bar for "%appdata%" (whitout quotes)
If you are on Windows 7 you search for "Run" in the search bar (and open Run app) and after that search for "%appdata%" in the search bar from Run window.

I've just loaded the game again and the earlier problems are now gone. I can now select and act with all units normally.

I've no idea why the issues occurred or why they are now gone as I haven't played the game or changed anything over the weekend. Probably the game knew the devs were involved and sorted itself out

Anyway, thanks for looking into this, I've now been able to complete my turn and passed it on to Erik.

The game was removed from the server without us getting to finish it. Never ended properly.
I'm miffed, since I think I was well on the way to get revenge from the mirror game....

Unless he's managed to drop those paras on your HQ?

I agree with Erik. I was really on my heels and could probably only have held off his main attack for a few more turns. I think the problems I had with the game at my end over the weekend robbed him of a 100 point victory.

Any way that this could be adjusted for him, please?

I see the number of players was increased for the second tournament. Now I'm reconsidering my decision to not join... Maybe tournament three then.
