One minor point - it looks like the list of armies in the first post might be out of date. It has the following Anglo-Saxon lists:

Anglo-Saxon 600-949 AD
Anglo-Saxon 950-1016 AD

But in game, there are three covering this time period - 600-870 AD, 871-949 AD, and 950-1016 AD. Just thought I'd point it out, these aren't my picks.
