Hello!
I probably messed something up - RUS campaign is.. gone

I got only two NATO campaigns, Syrian Civil War and this Italo-German one.
For now it's my order of activated mods/submods from mod enabler:
Main
Full immersion
Ambience
MAP_Grand
Any ideas what should I do to bring back RUS campaign and have it along with new one?
Hello Tripo.
I suggest you to have a "fresh/clean" game installation and then try to apply the mod again. As Estherr mentioned before, your problem seems to be some sort of files issues (weird considering I am editing the mod/game on daily basis and never had a problem).
Your savegames should work perfectly though.
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Akkula.

In case you'll run out of scenarios; there's been a certain hypothetical one that has been talked about alot lately, which might be fun to speculate and build around. I'll let these speak for me:

Very Nice. I confess I had gone another way, and considered if we could make a spinoff of the existing Syria Battle Scenario, incorporating not just the US and Russia but also the various Syrian factions that were added in.

chat or banter is fine, but please keep your personal views on any subject to yourselves and not print them everyone or they will be removed as per rules
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 7&t=350493
Hi everyone,
When you all signed up for our forum, you agreed to abide by the forum rules (
https://www.slitherine.com/terms-of-use) which included avoiding topics that could be divisive or inflammatory. We we think it's a good time to explain our "no politics" rule in some additional detail to help you understand our position and limit the load on our moderators.
First and foremost, this is a company forum, so unlike the outside world or some other parts of the internet, our goal here is to focus on the shared interest in strategy games that makes us a community. There is no one stereotypical strategy gamer and we want all to feel welcome here. As a result, we decided long ago that while our moderation would be generally light, we would draw the line at discussions involving divisive political or religious topics and personal attacks.
The reason for this is simple - to focus on what unites us as a community. Discussions and disagreement on many topics are fine, but experience has shown that discussions about politics, religion and a lack of civility lead to emotional arguments and serve to further division. There are plenty of opportunities for that elsewhere.
So what counts as politics? Sharing any article or opinion piece that takes a political viewpoint is not allowed. Discussing current events in a political context (i.e. focusing on political figures or parties and how they affect or influence these events) is not allowed. Making personal statements, either in a post, signature or avatar, regarding political beliefs is not allowed. Now we also are a community that enjoys historical strategy games and military history and political history are often intertwined. We don't want to discourage those historical discussions, but as we are all adults, please try to avoid tying them into present day politics.
Finally, understand that we are an international community and that means there will be instances of misunderstanding, either due to language differences or differences in the understanding of what is political. Please afford your fellow forum members the benefit of the doubt and ask for their explanation rather than assuming you know what they meant if there is any offense caused.
If a disagreement cannot be resolved mutually and with civility, that's where our moderators come in. Our general policy is to warn those involved once and lock the thread. On a second offense, we institute a temporary ban to allow all involved to cool off and reflect on the forum rules. A third offense may result in a permanent ban from the discussion forum, so please keep things civil as we would prefer not to take that step with any of our community.
One final note for the present times. We know that a once per century pandemic is a stressful event for all and we want this forum to be a place where you can come and share information about this event, including personal anecdotes and anything of use you may have come across. However, this issue as with many other present day issues has become politicized. The political aspects and political figures involved are not for discussion here, but outside of that you are welcome to share your personal thoughts and experiences during this time.

Very sad there's no Creole/Louisiana flag. Bug then again they'd probably just join Texas

Some icons works during my scenario editing breaks, this time some improvements and new stuff.
Improved Leopard 2 icons.... aaaand also a new beast for the Polish forces: the Leopard 2PL (at the bottom of the picture):
I admit I got the things wrong regarding the T-80UM2 and the "Black Eagle". In the mod by mistake I named the Object 640, T-80UM2.
Now is fixed, the Object 640 (Black Eagle) is properly renamed and the T-80UM2 has been added to the Russian tank roster (you can notice its characteristic active protection system at the side of the turret).
.... oh, and also the mighty 2S4 Tyulpan and the coastal artillery A-222 make their triumphant entrance to the mod
And some unique gadgets: the Bulgarian BMP-23 and the Ukrainian Novator:
More to come.
Best regards,
Akkula.

Speaking of the devil: is there way to tweak artillery exp gain from hitting naval targets? As of now, BAL / Bastion coastal systems get next to zero experience from scoring impressive kills on ships. Which is striking contrast with "normal" artillery experience gain.
But keep them shiny ones coming =)

Hi Estherr!
I could try to "play" with the exp settings for the naval artillery units and see how they work. Considering they have much less "activity" than normal ground artillery, maybe a tweak would be a nice addition to reward their unfrequent usage (and also, avoiding transforming them in a "one shot, one kill" unit of course).
Thanks for the heads up, as usual
Best regards,
Akkula.

Thank you for your great mod! Could you answer for my several questions, please. Is it possible to draw borders between countries in the editor and how to effectively use multi-role fighters? Thank you!

so how far are you with the big nato vs russia scenario, and will it include scripts for things like new unit spawns? to spice it up a bit - or maybe just limited purchases of troops
(and a bug: currently not all nato cities are on the same faction? and also means you cant upgrade on those airfields)

Hi kwarktaart,
The European Scenario is still WIP, however it does already have few events triggered by special assignments for the players.
There are no unit spawns, just the "regular" purchase system. At least for now.
At the moment I am starting to work on the scenario, let's see how it goes
Best regards,
Akkula.

Hello Mike,
Thanks a lot for your kind words
- About borders: not at the moment. It requires to work on new tiles or markers and then apply them to the map. It's quite a demanding job if you ask me

. So no for moment.
- Multirole fighters are represented by different units (with a small attack marker and different payloads on the unit icon), these units belong to the same series and they have the same cost. So you just need to "upgrade" them (by an airfield or during the deployment phase) in order to change their roles, at cost zero.
Best regards,
Akkula.
