Morat (Normans) beat ulysisgrunt 65-54

Brutal infantry fight over a central hill turned in the Normans direction with the arrival of flanking cavalry that just manage to overcome their Frankish foes. In the centre, Frankish foot and horse secured the upper hand. In the end the Norman cavalry were just able to do enough damage to get over the line. But a very tough fight.

The Berbers had the early lead winning the infantry battle in the center but the Greek knights flanking and crushing several units of Berber infantry on the next to last turn made it very close before Berber light troops routed a Greek CB medium infantry on the last turn to end it.

The Macedonians severely hampered by a lack of rocky hellscape terrain nevertheless gamely advanced out into the idyllic Mediterranean countryside, faces to the foe with great intent. Unfortunately this led quickly to envelopment, a steady rain of arrows and Cataphract mayhem amongst the huddled phalanxes.

To honour the brave Macedonians the Great King has commanded their dead to be buried and a suitably magnificent cairn to be raised marking their rest.

In a very even battle dragmio eventually broke the opponents wings while gort broke his center. Victory on the wings proved to be enough for the final result.

The Vikings got a break early, disrupting a beserker with lights and then breaking two units quickly, but the Anglo-Saxons came back and broke up the middle. In the end the Vikings routed the sides faster. GG!
