I will be at Britcon, umpiring and playing in the FOGR pre-release tournament.
Richard
I'll be playing in Lance & Bow. I'll drop by to say hi.

But can they be pressed into service as opponents?
If not, you have clearly brought them up wrong.
(I am off to Devizes in 2 weeks to play in a FOG double tournament with my 28 year old son as partner).
I have pleasant memories of your son (more child at that time) beating me at DBM at Britcon and in particular using a light horse to quick kill a double based knight general. He was a bold player!
It might have been Thomas, or it might have been Ned, who is 6 years younger. He gave Lorenzo Mele a good game at that Britcon, and usually beats me.

In those days there were no drink-driving laws (certainly not enforced if they existed). The beer was terrible stuff too. Emu Export and Swan Larger. But we knew no better at the time.
Gods know what you do to emus down there to make them into beer!

Isn't an Emu a Swan, Larger?

Yes, both are bitter lager's

Even Emu Bitter.
Yes, they taste like the urine excreted by both creatures. Unfortunately it was all we had to drink in the late 70"s

Gazxtrix & I are from Oztralia (although he was born a Pom - that's an Englishman for our Yankee friends).
Although I like the Bee Gees song "Massachusetts".

Back after only 3 days away and feel a bit lost.
I am a table top player, but I don't play much as it's mostly solo here, mostly I paint, and once a year I go to the Birmingham Expo for a few games.

Sorry will05 I was at Birm Expo around the Society stand - maybe I'll get to meet you next year.
I have the same problem in that almost all my gaming was solo but via FoG I've played more people in the past 3 months than the last 10 years!

I may be popping into Britcon on the Sat or Sun as I'm in the NW that weekend anyway - any excuse to buy more stuff I don't really need

Oh, before I forget. Morbious is now invading Crimea to regain lost territory
Logically it makes sense if this is Trapezius, but I'll wait for Iversonjm to confirm.

Indeed, we are fighting in Cragganmore because it has a city. I can't believe he'll need anywhere to hide in though

I guess that you must hum this little ditty then ....
Talk about the life in Massachusetts
Speak about the people I have seen
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
And Massachusetts is one place I have seen
I will remember Massachusetts
(I will remember Massachusetts)

Incidentaly is anyone going to download the Immortal Fire beta or is this going to affect the campaign.
