I had luck with terrain (big hill on my side) and at end my centre has just start to crumble but game just ended. 2-3 more turns and the result would be closer to a draw.

I have just received a message from hyme telling me he is withdrawing from the FOG2DL. He has entered Classical Antiquity Division F, Late Antiquity Division F and Early Middle Ages Division F.

In Classical Antiquity he has completed 6 matches so the 3 unfinished matches will be awarded to his opponents under Rule 6.

In Late Antiquity Division F he has completed 4 matches so the 5 unfinished matches will be awarded to his opponents under Rule 6.

There is a slightly awkward situation in Early Middle Ages Division F where he has completed just 2 matches, but a deadline (given by me) to make a move in a third match has passed (on 12/7) but his opponent in that match (random27) has not yet claimed the match on the forum. If he did not make a move by the deadline then the match will be awarded to random27. hyme also had matches in progress against Blagrot and wmpryor. I will need to ascertain the exact situation in those two matches as well, but it does seem unlikely that I will need to search for another reserve for this section as things stand at the moment.

SawyerK (Pyrrhic with Samnite allies) staggered across the finish line with a 60-56 win against Tresantes (Pontic 281-111 BC).

The two armies went toe-to-toe trading losses and wins throughout the game and the outcome was very much was in doubt until the very end as each side benefited from late rallies. Luck played a crucial factor for the Pyrrhics and the game could have easily gone the other way.
