Yes, it is the first X rated Britcon competition for over 18's only. I was naive enough that when Don told me a few weeks ago that I could see his whopper at Britcon that he was going to the burger and chips extravaganza on the Saturday night.

What kind of an evening is Tim Porter planning and is it too late to sign up?

My list is in and you couldn't be more wrong. I didn't want to get too predictable.

So we can look forward to a prediction of Kim Jong Un to win with a score of 150 points...

Here are the Runners and Riders. Before August the 1st! Thanks to a late entry from George we now have 24.
For those interested in this kind of thing, here's a breakdown of the armies and books used:
You may now engage in more informed (if not more sensible) banter.
See you all next week!

May I be the first to thank Kevin for his selfless offer to list check and the excellent job he has done both in correcting errors - sorry Kev - and posting the lists so quickly after the deadline. You are truly epic Kevin and I'm not just sayingthat because i think you'll be the umpire and I might squeeze some cheesy benefit from it on any 50/50 calls - honest!
My friend Spotted Dog unpacked the new, improved, PREDICTOMETER last night and will - even as we speak - be running the algorythms to furnish a revised 1-2-3 prediction with the revealed runners factored in. I am sure he will be posting them soon basho go-ers!

Thank you HH for your eloquent posting - always a joy to read your prose!
SD productions can exclusively reveal the updated 1-2-3 forecast and I must confess I ran the programme twice to be sure of the results. So without further ado the revised forecast is; in 1. Kevin Johnson 2. Stephen Stead and 3. Ben Jones. It seems the PDOM likes the artillery, bow and shot capabablities of the Ruskies and has concluded that uber generals Gibson and Munro may neuter each other.

More importantly, FoGR has one of the highest percentage of player take-up for the Beer, Burgers & Bullets evening of any period at the event this year with 6 so far
We also have odd numbers as of today, so whilst we will be working to remedy this if anyone would like to volunteer to skip (particularly) the Friday night game it will help us avoid the unfortunate scenario of the latest person to arrive not actually getting a game in on Friday?
(or I guess playing someone who's already played and finished earlier!)

Eeek! I thought it was Bullets, Beer & Burgers on Saturday night, not Bullets, Beer & Buggery

Let us all hope the high take up is based on the former description of Tim's evening rather than the latter

				Tim
How's about permitting an earlier start time on Friday if we are still odd so that those who finish can be available for a second game versus the. cows tail player.

Idea works for me... Then all players get a "scoring" game... For what's it's worth, I'll have marmluks with me for a HOMABOD medieval/Longbows and Lances game I'm playing against Martyn (FOGAM) so happy to bring few extra figs to make into a FOGR version. And happy to lend out...

Kevin said we were even with 24 players, so who has dropped out or have we gained a 25th?

As far as I'm aware we have 24. I've had that many lists but the entry system hasn't quite caught up.

To further enhance my credentials as a nerd: There is actually an error in the Books section. Don Avis's League of Augsberg army has incorrectly assigned to WoR instead of D&G. So WoR = 10 and D&G = 10. I am sure Kevin did this deliberately to see if we were paying attention!
