TJLionheart wrote:nikivdd, have you thought of doing a campaign at the end of the GC45? Seems a little anti-climactic to defeat the Russians at Berlin, and then a second time, capture their leader, and then have the thing end. A few more waves of Russians attacking Berlin, etc., a breakout from Berlin, or repelling an Ally attack from the other side would be cool for those of us with a lot of prestige remaining for the Berlin scenarios.
I haven't had the time to finish DLC 45E yet, but i have begun playing that a few weeks ago.
Actually i have no idea which scenarios could be created afterwards. I could tweak the campaign file, to allow to play Sealion 45 after the Endsieg.

Hi nikivdd
Thx for the reply, so I just play MPC40 with your Core
A note on the first mission, how do I remove the train to get DV on DLC39-40? I cant see any exit for that unit.

You're right. I suppose you'll have to disband it.

Borowa Gora - all requirements are met:
-All primary objectives

- PC MPC 1.jpg (162.24 KiB) Viewed 4851 times
-Colonel Czyzewski's HQ destroyed

- PC MPC 2.jpg (120.01 KiB) Viewed 4851 times
-Gory Borowskie hills conquered

- PC MPC 3.jpg (111.25 KiB) Viewed 4851 times
But scenario ends after turn 22 with "Germany surrendered".
Did not use opportunity to upgrade the towed artillery - was that it?

I intend to make an overhaul of the campaign but it will require some time. Some of the scenarios are too hard; the objectives too ambitious and the core army too small. I intend to add a few new scenarios and scrap a few as well.

I've just started playing MPC40. It's very good.
When you're doing the update, check the Voss victory conditions. The message says to put eight ground units on the hexes marked @, but there were only 6 special hexes. It didn't matter to me, as I was nowhere near getting even one or two units that far across the map.
Increasing the core might make it a bit easier. At the moment I find the level of combat difficulty is very good, but the maps are slightly too big even when taking some calculated risks (one Panzer IV has been reformed every game). For me, the limited core makes it quite challenging as you have to take a few risks early on and plan ahead, so I'd favour adding an extra turn or two to give time to resupply and cover distance, if you can damage the enemy enough to take a chance and make a run for the DV objectives.
I'm looking forwards to MPC41 already!

I have incorporated some your MPC 37-39 scenarios into my customized super-campaign that combines GTPG with the Grand Campaign series

I did borrow Saar Offensive and Mannerheim Line to be more exact.
I found Saar a bit tedious even though I managed to achieve DV in the last turn (playing on Field Marshall difficulty). I did it with some load/save magic to be honst

I think that there could be a couple of extra Core slots in this one so I did change that afterward. I also changed a capturable S35 tank so that it becomes part of your core
Mannerheim Line...I attempted this one three times, initially aiming for a MV and later changing my goal to surviving all the 30 turns without major losses. Didn't work

To make it more "realistic" (and playable), i.e. to reflect chaotic nature of Soviet attacks I removed some of their scouting units so the Red Army now has only 4 cavalries and 2 scout cars. I also added a couple of bunkers. I still need to play test it though to see how it works

While battling with Denmark and Norway I notice that some of my (German) units are receiving Knights Cross, Knights Cross with Oakes and even Knights Cross Oaks and Leaves...
Without earning Iron Cross 1st Class.... Glitch?
Of course very happy with these sorts of appreciations, but a little early in the game I suppose?

Today i reworked Battle of Mokra and Borowskie Gory.
Number of core units has been raised (similar to DLC 39), the experience cap has been set to 225 (like in DLC 39); i added Rudel too. Also objectives have been made easier, especially the goals for a minor victory.
Turn splash screen also show the victory requirements.
These scenarios just require a retest from my part before working on the next scenarios.
