Lydianed (Ancient Brits) 15/41 bt. zumHeuriger (Hatran) 61/54

The Brits spread themselves out in a line across the board with their left flank protected by some fields and woods. By not leaving any gaps the Brits were able to close with the Hatran lights and MF and push them back, doing rather better in the match-ups in the process. The Hatran Heavy Horses made some serious dents in the British line but were caught getting out of position. Apologies to my opponent for going after the extra break points but they might count in the final reckoning. Thanks for the game Tom.

After a disastrous opening maneuver which lost the Dacians a good portion of their Sarmatian lancer strike force, the Dacians opted to stay on the safety of the steep hills and wait out the storm of missiles and occasional anarchy charge on either side. A Bosporan wide outflanking maneuver was defeated, resulting in a rare 25-turn draw.

When you say the outflanking manoever was defeated I presume you are referring to your disrupted foot at minus who routed my cavalry in three combat phases! disrupted, fragmented, broken. Stupid bloody game anyway.
