macsen Seleucid Successor 12/26 defeats phlewis Seleucid Successor 24/22

No Generals died, no camps looted.

Thoughs i was going to get a real kicking when I turned up with a mixed bag of medfoot Impfoot and pikes and found my self on a plain facing a long line of pikes. Fortunately the dice gods don't like the the new temple Pat has built for them, too gauche :?, and he only rolled ones and his pikes just evapourated.

Hard luck Pat

cheers

Fedem Saka 22/34 vs batesmotel Rhoxolani Sarmatians 29/27

Boths camps looted and no Commanders lost.

The Mercs were able to use his cavalry archers and foot spearmen on a good way outnumbering the enemy on the left flank mostly and, first holding the centre and right flank with the Seleucids Pikes and the Lancers and after the hill that they were able to reach was well defended they started to push.
The foot archers were really accurate too.

Interesting battle.

Tks bates!

Cheers!

Trevor Horn, member of The Buggles and producer for Frankie goes to Hollywood.

Did you know that Video killed the radiostar was first a hit in Canada for Woolley and the Camera Club, the video clip was directed by an Australian and it was the first one ever shown on MTV .

Just googled it, horn and downes co-wrote it with woolley.

OK maybe an easy connection but there are probably others.

Have watched The ring films. Has anybody got a video nowadays? Everything is dvd etc. Maybe a rerelease DVD killed the videostar.

Don't worry Deeter, changed the rules so you have to accept a challenge, it was just to much work for me other wise

batesmotel Early Sarmatian 12/28
phlewis Seleucids 24/22

Seleucids lost one FC on their last turn. No camps were looted. The Seleucids were mainly pikes with a coupl cavalry and a few thorakitai. The Sarmatians were able to seize a hill on the Seleucid left flank which pretty much decided the battle with these smaller armies. Thanks for the game.

Chris

Radio (Early Achachakka Persians (Later)) 3/36 vs Macsen (Lysimichad Successor) 27/27. No camps looted, no generals killed.

it was painful to watch really, Mac just couldn't get a break. Veteran Lancers repeatedly bouncing off my light spear medium infantry was a particular highlight.
