Indeed it was a very good game thanks David!

yes indeed you killed my Field commander,I don't think I went into this using my inspired commander(personal character) His end was rather ignominious falling from his horse and being trampled by his own cavalry during their first charge.

Summer 1025 Battle Report

Aristides 29/40(Ghazanivads) Def Turk1964 Khazars 39/36

No commanders lost. No camps looted

Overall a fairly ordinary battle where the Khazars were forced to Fight the Ghazis in a forest ,as they wouldnt come out to play. The end result being an inevitable loss to the Mainly Cavalry forces of the Khazars.Perhaps we too should adopt a defensive campaign and allow our enemies to come to us .

That should conclude a terrible summer for the forces of Turk. Let us move on to Autumn and perhaps more Luck

I'll update the spreadsheet tonight and publish the Summer results, then on into Autumn!

The scores are up on the first post. Unless anyone objects, I don't think we need to impose battle restrictions just yet. We are now into Autumn...

Byzantines lost 1 TC and looted the Bulgar camp (although it took my incompetent LF several turns to figure out how to do that). I think all the Bulgar generals survived.
