I've completed Pskov with a DV.
I have a choice to make...either Leningrad or Kiev.
Both have the opportunity to go to Moscow'41...by-passing Odessa.
However...a DV/MV at Odessa shows the campaign tree having a branch "back" to Moscow'41.
Since "all roads" leads to Moscow'41...does it make sense to go for Moscow'41 immediately...and skip Odessa and miss this "extra" scenerio to gain experience and prestige?
Or will Moscow'41 be harder if I go through the Odessa scenerio first?
Thanks for any advice assistance.
Playing on general with 1.20 rules...AI=2...reform units...NO Weather...SS units(obviously).
GREAT MOD!!!

Odessa is an extra scenario for those who did not get a DV in Kiev or DV/MV in Leningrad. If one wins in Odessa, this is just another opportunity to play Moscow 41. In terms of prestige won't make so much difference, but the extra scenario can add XP and kills (->heroes) to the player's units.
I'm glad you like the mod sofar. Have fun

Tried downloading this newest version and still get "vanilla" sounds, but no SS or SE sounds.
The zip size of the file was fine and I just did a complete re-install. Comparing the audio files from this MOD and the Original PC game, I see NO NEW SOUND FILES?
I'm sure you have files and names for your "modded sounds and newer .wav files" but I cannot find anything but the vanilla game sounds. So when I use a vanilla core group, I get movement and battle sounds. When using an SS or SE unit, I don't get any movement sounds. Just wondering what it could be? OR maybe I'm just having a problem incorporating the sounds?
My only other campaigns I've played is the Original PC game and the Original GTPG file nikivdd modded a while back. (all vanilla files)
So I'm not all familiar with the modding additions, so it could be me? (not putting something in the right places?)
Otherwise, with the exception of sound - all the videos and game play seems to be working fine.
Thanks for any help.
Having the same problem, bros'. Did everything according to the install.txt. No other mods. Just the plain vanilla game (fully patched) and the actual SS-GTPG v1.12. No custom sounds.
The links for the mentioned updates/patches to this problem are dead.
What Do i have to do or for what update do i have to wait?

The isssue is more extensive than anticipated. To enjoy the custom sound, the efx would require a rebuilt, based on VPaulus' sound mod. Unfortunately, this means a lot of work for which i have no time. I must set my priorities, and the priority for the time being is the development of official content.
First i thought that loading VPaulus' sound mod would solve the problem but it is not the case. His latest version does not include all the custom stuff Airbornemongo added in the equipment file.

Sad to hear this. But somehow anticipated.
Your campaign is fun anyway. Even with some ghostly silent units

Just started this campaign. The briefing in Spain says that the High Command granted us a Panzer IIIE experimental unit. Don't see it...

nikivvd-
Just a posting to say how much I'm continuing to enjoy this mod...with the SS elite units!
23 battles completed to date...getting ready to kick off Moscow'43.
Thank goodness for the SS Elefant AT and the SS Tiger I units...Ivan no longer has the upper hand in armor engagements, but still a challenge due to shear numbers of tanks he throws at me.
The SS recon units with a spotting range of 4 and a movement rate of 8 are invaluable for battle field intel!!
Thanks again for your mod.

I started playing this mod yesterday, and played through the Madrid scenario.
When I got to Danzig, the game told me a 110c is supposed to join my core forces. But it doesn't show up. Reloading doesn't help. Any ideas what could have gone wrong here?

Did you go ahead and deploy your core units...then actually start the Danzig scenerio? If I remember correctly, when you see this comment, the unit will appear on the map as a core unit(gold boarder) once you have advanced to the first turn.
I remember getting the SE Bf 110C in my play through.

No, I didn't

Just checked, you are right, it shows up after the deployment. Thanks for the clarification.

New core units only appear on your map after the deployment phase. To donate a core unit at turn 1 of the mission, it requires a time trigger, which the game only reads after the deployment phase.
So if you encounter this situation again, deploy your army, press end deployment phase, and only then the new core unit will have appeared on your map.

I need some assistance please with the installation of this mod. Here's what I've done so far:
1. Downloaded, installed and configured GME. Tested it by downloading and activating one of the graphics mods. Everything worked as intended.
2. Downloaded the SS-GTP mod (v 1.14). Extracted it to the MODS folder in User/My Documents etc. Also extracted it to the MODS folder in my main PC game folder. This was per the installation instructions that came with the mod.
3. Went to GME, found the mod and activated it.
4. Started the game (I'm patched up to the latest v 1.24), went to New Game, then the More Campaigns tab. Found the SS-GTPG mod listed 3 times! It was listed twice identically under it's own SS-GTPG campaign heading, and once under the heading User Made Campaigns.
5. I then deleted the mod from the My Documents MODS folder. Went into the game again. This time the SS-GTPG mod was still listed twice under its own campaign heading. The mod was not of course listed under User Made Campaigns.
6. Played a few turns of the mod from both of the listings. Everything seemed to work with no differences between either of them.
So I'm confused. Is there therefore no need for the mod to be installed in the My Documents MODS folder? Will it play properly just installed in the PC MODS folder and activated by GME? And why is it listed twice in the game launcher? Is there in fact some difference between the two listings which won't become apparent until I'm further into the game?
Any explanation and clarification would be most welcome.

Downloaded and installed it - working without a problem - looking forward to it. This must have been hard work, so a big thank you.
This feels like having played PG and then discovering someone had made the "Superblitz" campaign

.
Have any changes been made as to captured units?
Is there a (new) unit upgrade chart available?

At the completion of the Moscow43 battle (10/10/43), I have a choice of advancing my campaign either on the Eastern Front or the Western Front.
I'd be interested in any comments about the "differences/challenges" each offers. Is one more defensive in nature for the germans...or one more geared to germans being on the offensive?
Which is "harder"...does one offer greater prestige rewards than the other...etc.?
TXS
PS-would appreciate nikivdd's comments as the designer of this immersive mod.
