2nd: Uninstall DLC'41
3rd: Install beta 1.05
4th: Install DLC'41

Otherwise, something won't work.

Make a backup of your save games (just in case), and uninstall everything related with Panzer Corps.
And install it again.

I don't know if it's true but mismatch serial numbers can cause CRC errors.

Uninstall the commercial Panzer Corp?!! Isn't a bit over the top? I made it work by uninstall everything beta and reinstalling the DLC3 launcher and 1.05. The same password works for both. I smell panic in the air. Never a good sign.

If you had read the posts before, you would know that Blitz already have tried what you suggested.
Panic?! Why? For?
Not at all. Just the wish to help others to solve their issues.
After all unistalling a game is just... isn't just a such drastic thing to do.
I'm sure that Blitz will be happy if you to point him what he must do to solve his issue.
And I too will be.

I have read all the posts and have written how I corrected my errors.

I can't see how uninstalling the commercial would help as it's in a separate folder - or should be.

I would ask Blitz if he uninstalled with "Add/Remove" from the PC Control Panel.

Yeah, I see. Registery problems. My hands sweat just thinking about regedit. I've gone there but I hate it. The registry is why I asked how he uninstalled as some uninstall methods skip the registry.

I use CCleaner for basic maintenance, it also cleans up your registry. Sofar i never had problems with it.

As long you take some precautions, like doing, for example, a system restore point before you mess with it, it's not so dangerous. But yes, it's always advisable to edit it only when you know what you're really doing.

That's true. That's always the correct method to uninstall any software. Like with most software, even with an uninstall, some Panzer Corps setting remains in registry. However, things like serial numbers, are deleted.

I usually run away from any registry cleaner, including CCleaner. Only when I have a serious problem, and almost as the last resource before having to do a fresh Windows install.

Bis, I used the unistall in the Slitherine folder.
I unistalled everything!! Base game and all the beta add ons everything.
Checked the registry for anything Slitherine and removed it.
I understand about messing with the reg, that's why I am running the beta's on a virtual box!!
If I screw it up too bad I shall blow it away and load another one, no harm no foul!
VPaulus, going to take your suggestions and start from scratch with the base purchased copy then load the beta and see if it helps.

You did it!!
Uninstalled everything.
Installed original game using my purchased serial.
Updated to 1.04 original serial.
Installed 1.05 beta using beta serial.
Tried to run DLC 41 beta patch and it said couldn't patch it.
Ran beta 1.05, opens to main menu!
Never got that far.
Had to remove save games but I am in!
NOW, Is there a campaing button for 41, or is it part of the main game?
I don't have the campaing button in the middle.

Unistall DLC 41 (DLC3 beta), if possible.
Then install DLC 41 beta again and give the path of Panzer Corps Beta.

In my case:
C:\Slitherine\Panzer Corps Beta\DLC Beta\DLC3\Panzer Corps DLC3 Beta

Then you must have the Other Campaign buttons in the middle, as usual.

This is the message I am getting when I run the DLC 41 v2 exe.

The installer cannot install the upgrade patch because the program being upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch upgrades a different version of the program.

Sorry if you wrote this somewhere, but as I read that you plan to release 7 DLC's and Germany was only involved in the war for 6 years what will be the 7th DLC? One year where much happened (I can hardly imagine packing '43 in one dozen missions) twice?

At what exact moment does this message appears? After you've defined the path where you want to install?

What about if, 44 is divided in 2 DLCs? I'm not sure, maybe Kerensky could enlighten us.
But 44 it's a good year for that. After all in Europe we've 3 major fronts. East, South and Western.

As soon as I double click the exe.
It comes up immediately with that message, I click ok and it exits.

I needed to take a look at your registry.
You'd have to run regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Slitherine and export that whole branch to a txt file.
But for security reasons, you would have to edit the parts of text that had your serial numbers, leaving only the last four digits.
Then you could PM me and past the contents of that txt.
I just need to see how you have things installed.

I know now what is the problem.
1.05 beta doesn't add a line in the registry with DLC serial, like the previous beta versions.
So when you uninstall Panzer Corps all the serials are erased from registry.
After installing Panzer Corps and 1.05 beta, the line with the beta DLC serial, will be missing. Without that line, DLC3 cannot be installed.

The line needed is the one in bold without any quotation marks:

I get the same problem. While music now plays for me, I get a black screen, pixelated strategic map, and have to Alt-Ctrl-Del to back out of the program since the menu doesnt come up. Something strange is occurring with this rev.
