Hi!

Due to the chart "squads" in data ordner has Waffen SS units a morale quality of 125!

Regarding their obsession I think it's OK!

Hmm, again, a Marder III which I had just surpressed, gives return fire on the sound round I surpress it.

There is something mechanically wrong with a Puma only having a spotting distance of 5. The Puma after all, was supposed to be a scout/recon vehicle, yet in this game it performs worse than other units not assiged that role. Also, I'm not sure it makes sense to not increase these ranges when a vehicle is ontop of a hill.

Hmm, yes it definitely doesn't seem proper that even foot-infantry have better range vision than 8/rads & pumas

In the on-line desert fort scenario, there is an M3 off the map border. Is that supposed to be like that?

I had a vickers in a truck, and after the truck was destroyed the vickers disapeared. Perhaps this is part of new realistic code, which is ok. I was expecting to see an extra damage roll though if this is the case.

I like the current change with the transports, but there is one problem. the code DOES NOT WORK!! after I unload and moved my units from my transports in the winter village scenario (axis) they now are all loaded back onto my trucks again on my next turn.

That doesn't make sense, since the US airborne has moral of 125 also. I highly doubt any US unit could have the same moral as fanatical SS or Japan units. The Americans were not even defending their own territory in the war. Their ideology was much different.

I suppose the green arrows over the units are just an aesthetics test for now?

I agree it would be interesting if these were very hard to suppress. Their combat stats are fairly average and die just as quick as other infantry, so would be interesting if they were "sieg oder tod" units. They are rare in the game so would be cool if they were a bit scarier.

I think that means that the unit with the green arrow is MOVED; because they appear after I moved the unit!

In the Winter_village scenario, i try, and try, and try to get my infantry off the transports, and yet htey keep getting removed from cover and ending back on the transports.

Hmm, it seems again I'm noticing some dead allied units come back to life, and not just infantry.

It sounds like those are all MP problems. It's frustrating that I'm not seeing these issues when testing here. But that's the difference between real play and testing... :(

If you have a game turn which exhibits oddness, please stop playing the game, and post the game players, and the last update time. Then I can grab the turn and check it out.

Thanks a lot

Obsolete wrote:After units carry out a successful assault against my infantry in buildings, shouldn't those enemy units suffer a spotted penalty instead of remaining invisible in the tile they had just assaulted?
Yes, they probably should be spotted if they assault. I'll make the fix.

Ah - OK. We altered the scripting to ensure you couldn't do this stuff through hedges etc, but my guess is that it is sometimes taking longer but quicker routes, and confusing the logic. I will need to add a routefind which always takes the shortest routes for doing these kinds of checks.

Cheers

Winter Village, I noticed my AA has been moved a few tiles away from where I parked it last. I noticed this sort of thing before in the past so I've been keeping cloer watch on things. Unless, my opponents are moving my units during their turn, which seems to be a possiblity from what I hear!

Correct, it shows that the unit now carries movement penalties for shooting, reaction, etc, which are not present when using the stealthier hunting movement.
