I downloaded from the link in the first post and GC1942 does not show in the campaign list.
At first the link was missing an updated excel file to list GC1942 even though the GC1942 files were there. That was fixed yesterday and the link has all the correct files in it including the updated excel file. I just checked again to be sure and they are still there.
I was an idiot, put it in the wrong folder. Thanks for the excellent content!

It also looks like we will have GC1943 East before there is AO1943 East.
It would be great

Is there a campaign map? Seems like commendation point is not enough even if I finish all secondary objective.

There is no campaign map. Which year are referring to? What is it that you do not have enough commendation points for?

Never mind, I think it's my problem. There is one second objective I didn't finish.

I just finished the 1939 campaign, and found it excellent. Better than the campaigns that came with the game actually. Narvik was incredibly hard end to the campaign, it took me 4 attempts on the second easiest setting to complete, so a tough end to the campaign for sure.
Thanks to all you guys for making this available - you guys are awesome. Now on to the 1940 campaign!

Fixed Soviet planes in GC 1941 where 1944 models were in some scenarios.
Fixed Soviet planes in GC 1942 where 1944 models were in some scenarios.
Added custom rules file in some GC 1942 scenarios where it was missing.

Make sure the Excel spreadsheet that comes with the download was extracted correctly in your Data Folder in the mod. Sometimes that does not get extracted properly into place. The Excel file with the download has the GC 1942 information. Make sure your Excel file is showing it. If not you will have to copy the correct one in to the Data folder.

I found another issue though and will have to add a new link. GC942 is not allowing to input core from GC1941. Will fix shortly and upload new link.
Ok Fixed file that accidently got overwrote to prevent core form GC1941 to GC1942. Version 2.01 is now available to download from the first thread.
Sorry for the error.

Hi guys. Because I was waiting for new AO I tried to find something helpfull in these hard times. Tried Unity of command.. Maybe its good but not for me. Then tried Strategic Mind. Finished tutorial. But decided not to buy full vesuon. This game has samothing good, a new projects with high potential, but.. Another game not for me. Too much colours, the map was not clear for me. If somebody says, that map on PC 2 is not clear then try SM

.
So I decide to Come back to PC 1. Ioved GC, Finished West and East, but not played GC US Corps. But then I found your MOD! Thank you So much, because it is hard to go back for PC1 if you playad PC2 (for example in PC1 never used AA and AT Guns, in PC 2 I can not imagine to play without them)
So please, guys give me advice. Is the prestige as imortant how it was in PC 1 (in AO not

). Because to won GC East PC 1 I was stsrting it 3 times.
First - lost Too much prestige in 1943
Second - lost Too much prestige in 1944
Third - won, thanks to knowledge how imortant prestige was...
So guys, what os your advice?
Forgove me my English...

Unlike PC1, PC2 has hundreds of different ways to set the difficulty level for the game which you can tailor to your style of play. The Edmon, one of the moderators on Slitherine, has several You Tube videos on how all these works and how to make the best selections. You can find several links to them in the Panzer Corps 2 threads or go straight to his You Tube page.
The difference between our mod and the PC1 original Grand Campaign is we set the prestige you get for each scenario and technically there is no cap because if you use the capture enemy equipment strategy you can get all the prestige you want. How difficult you want the game is on you and the settings you choose.

Mate thank umyou for the answer. You know, even if you are the Best commander, without HIGH prestige you you can not win GC in PC 1. OK you are right, PC 2 has many ways to set difficulty. I do not want to cheat and use unlimted undos and general traits points. So I will try yours amazing

mod, and give you my opinion.
Finished 3rd mission in PRECAMPAIGN 1939 and what can I say? Maybe thise misiion are not easy or Iam very poor commander

.
Thank you guys, Best wishes for jour job!

The Prelude Scenarios are hard but it is mainly because the units have no experience not because someone is a poor commander. It is important to have units with some experience going into the first Grand Campaign. Also, are you playing with Version 2.01? If not make sure you are and it is available on the first post of this thread.

Hello,
as old veteran i enyoyed the Custom Campaign very much so far. In the Africa Campaign I went to the suez canal. Here i can deploy only 4 ground units there are no others slots free. Is it possible to check and fix this?
Thank you for the outstanding work and the fun i had.

I believe according to Grondel who did the Africa Corps conversion that there has always been issues with the campaign for the Non-Historical path. There is still work to be done on it. Perhaps we can look at it after we finish GC1943.
