As the victor writes history ... The rebels under Bagatrix suffered from being outnumbered on their left where it was cavalry vs cavalry also from a deployment that put all the loyal, quality, infantry against the rebels right. Although the rebel centre prevailed this was not quickly enough to prevent the rout of both flanks. Thanks to Bagatrix for a good game.

Aetius (Viking/French) defeats Kroche (Viking/British) 45-8

It was a kind of civil war, with French and British allies respectively. It took some time for the action to start, as the armies got into position, but when they did, an early break in the middle by the Viking/French helped start a chain down the line. The other army was more successful at their right flank, but it was much slower. GG!

WHOOPS my battle against Berber murabit was against Afromullet

On average we are on target for challenges and completed games so well done chaps.

However all players, ideally need to have completed 5 games. I/we do not want to be placed in a position where we have to make adjudications.

It could mean that players miss out on promotion or are now relegated due to not completing games on time.

Division A - Eric is still in the lead but DreddRadish is powering ahead and is looking unstoppable, especially after beating Aetius.

Division B - Zawz ("The Winged Hussar":) has now taken 1st from the long term leader Random27, who is now in 3rd spot as Bagatrix has jumped into 2nd position. This is the most open division as 5 players have a chance of 1st and 2nd spot.

"The Winged Hussar", Random27, Triarii, Morat and BobG are the 5. The games between these will decide on the top 2 methinks.

Division C - mcfcivo is still leading and has now completed all of his games. Garokan remains in 2nd spot and would need the highest score in all periods and divisions to overtake mcfcivo. It looks as if these 2 players will be promoted but Keksoid might still be able to do it.

Div C result

mcfcivo (Arabs) 52% defeated wellsonian (polish) 66%.
