Hi there, I apologize for the sporadic and uneven response times in terms of getting turns flipped. I am currently in the middle of setting up a move and didn't have a lot of time to sit down and play but moving day is on Wednesday so I may be in total incommunicado for the next little while. Assuming everything with the new internet hookup goes well, I will be back in action by the middle of next week at the latest, hopefully much sooner. I have already completed the time control check for both divisions so I am not in danger of being replaced.

For anyone who hasn't started matches with me, there should not be any issues with us making the games completed as I should have have a full five weeks even in the worst case scenario.

Unfortunately for Niki he kept throwing waves of cavalry at my medium Bow only to bounce then be shredded in the following turn, Valdavia had a wall of Pike engage getting push backs just then to be flanked, I feel for both of them after facing this army with Graeco Bactrians

Aside from the obvious 6 foot difference in sticks he suffered, a tricky to cross river scuppered IMC before the battle really got going unfortunately. I think fully a third of his Spartans never even got to engage and those that did weren't even able to use their spears (I never noticed before this fight the terrible penalty that pike and spearmen suffer in streams or under severe disorder. Thankfully I bought some swordsmen).

Thank you for letting this run, we resolved with 1 turn remaining! I was beginning to think draw after herm's veteran pike rallied 3 times in 3 turns meaning even throwing a xystophoroi (which I could not accommodate) at it couldnt send it packing (he had a crafty plan but only bought 7000 men, so I was worried about reaching the threshold).
