SnuggleBunnies (Vikings, Ireland 900-1049 AD with Irish 900-1049 AD allies) draws with Schweetness (Andalusian 756-1049 AD) 48-30

A protracted skirmish led to the Vikings slogging across the map while slowly getting surrounded. Our superior numbers in infantry saw the advantage swing our way despite rear charges and a breach in the line, but night fell before we could see if victory was achievable. GG.

TomoeGozen (Armenian (Tigranes) with Pontic Allies) beat Brenmusik (Slave Revolt) 53-5.

A battlefield narrowed by a stretch of water and hardly any rough ground left nowhere for the slaves to run and hide... it was a tough battlefield for them.

Thanks for the game Brenmusik.

by CONSTANTINIX
Division A

ConstantinIX - Byzantine 551-578 AD beat nyczar - Roman 425-492 AD with Frankish 260-495 AD allies 41 : 0

This game was the strangest I have ever played
The first six rounds see some positioning movements. My left cavalry flank was facing the enemy cavalry whereas infantries were facing each other at my right flank.
Then, an enemy general cavalry charged his equivalent near the center quickly reinforced by another cavalry unit. The rest of the enemy cavalry units move to support and flanck the ongoing fight.
The following was a dream.
All my cavalry went to charge and a full evading mouvement took place leaving the two opponent cavalries vulnerable to flanck attacks and a cataphract quite isolated. Next turn, both cavalry units became fragmented and they disbanded the turn after propagating routs orders to the nearby units and triggering some automatic opportunity flanking attacks. At the end of turn eight, 35 % of the army was routed. At turn 9, the cataphract fell along whith a javelin light cavalry allowing me to reach the 40 % treshhold. Honestly, I can't claim the full responsability as the god of war was clearly extending his blessing on my army as noone could have predicted the erratic movements : one of my "bersekers" calvary units skewered (in an automatic mode) and disbanded three units in two turns !)
Sorry for Nyczar who didn't deserve such a score.

Nail biting stuff and a great game.
