Had to contend with a lot of light horse/archers which did damage, but Frankish cavalry broke through, while shield wall held/punched holes in the weaker Andalusian line.
GG Tratmot made me work for it! ^^

devoncop (Arab Bedouin 300AD with Byzantine alliies) beat Sawyer K (Roman 285AD with Armenian allies) ... 47% to 12%

An open flat map pf the Roman side was contrasted with a low hill along the centre of the arab line. With the Roman's unwilling to advance the Arab missile cavalry engaged in a hit and run game of cat and mouse until the Romans broke.

The byzantine line was protected between two forests
I luckily caught some light troops and horse archers with my (maybe but not this time) agressive cavalry
Then shield wall and lancers on foot finished the job

Stream separated both sides with an l-bend at both centers, tense fighting on my left as Byzantines attempted a sweeping flanking manuver that was checked by some brave horse archers. Persian center advanced across the stream and broke the byzantines at the L-junction to my surprise; calamity ensued.
