Triarii (Andalusians) defeats Morat (Frankish) 45-18

Franks on a hill came and looked at Andalusians in woods and rough ground who turned out to have lots of missile troops.
Franks went back up the hill but missile losses were high. When they came down the hill again not quite enough of them to prevent Andalusian flanking. Alternative Hastings?
As ever vs Morat a good tough game thank you.

We did not post the correct result with rockmanbob123 He retreated into a rock outcropping and it ended with my 25 to his 41 but was draw which I edged.

I am confused now as to which of my games was not reported finished? By my book all were done.

By my record - although the game no longer on the servers to verify - I won that 45 to 19 in early August. Thank you and very sorry. Been a rough couple of months.

Season 9 of The Divisional Championships (TDC VII) will open for sign-ups from Dec 7- Jan 4.

The tournament will run from Jan 11 to Apr 5.

We will use your ELO rating for the period you played in, or the overall rating if no period rating, to place you in a division with similarly rated players.

Required DLCs: Swifter than Eagles, Rise of Persia, Immortal Fire and Legions Triumphant

To enter post “I wish to enter” or similar in this thread. You must also include your choice of 3 armies and allies in the same post by Jan 4. Armies must fall within the 681 BC to 25 BC time period.
Only one army list can be chosen for each division. For example, only one Roman 105-25 BC can be chosen; however, another player can choose Roman 199-106 BC.

Allies must fall within the period of 681 BC to 25 BC.

Please include your 3 choices as below

1) Antigonids (320-301BC)
2) Pyrrhic (280-275BC)
3) Spartan (221-146BC) with Roman (219-200BC) allies

Players will be awarded their choice based upon their ranking. Lower-ranked players will receive their 1st choice, while the highest-ranked players will often receive only their 2nd or 3rd choice. There may be occasions when a 4th selection is required.

Please keep track of who has added their 3 choices and be prepared to change your choices at all times.

Players cannot use the same army list, variant army or same allies in the same period the following season. Nor can they use the same army list in a different period the following season. However, they can use a "variant" army or allies in a different period the following season.

Variant (Armies) – All armies that have the same “first” name, for example, Roman, Hunnic, Byzantine and so on. A maximum of 2 of a variant can be used in a division

Final date for entries is 4th of Jan. The competition will run from January 11 to April 5.
