Late Antiquity: winners post your results here . . .

Please use the following format when reporting your results . . .

Division A

hidde (Romans) beat stockwellpete (Dacians) 50-25

It is very helpful to me if we all get used to reporting the results in the same way, so please report the score as 50-25 rather than 25-50 when you have won. This avoids much confusion when discussing match situations by PM with regards to adjudication or some other issue regarding the rules of the tournament.

Thanks for setting up the tournament Pete. I've thrashed the computer with my selections, this is a sure sign of tournament failure.

Individual "Welcome to the FOG2DL" were sent to everyone this morning. If there are going to be any non-starters this season then I can usually identify them from this "welcome" PM sitting in my Outbox well into next week.

No. It just depends on who makes the challenge.

I will be opening everything up, including the "arrange your matches here" threads at 6pm (UK time) this evening so players in New Zealand/Australia can start first thing June 1st if they want to. So there are about 8 hours to go now.

Biblical

Instructions

Important: this section continues to use 1600 point armies.

Either player may set up the challenge in this section. Remember to PM your opponent as well as placing the challenge and password in this thread.

For matches in this section players will select "Open Battle" and will field a "Large" army (1600 points) and choose a "Wide" battlefield unless otherwise directed. Players are free to customise their army before each battle so "Default" is the correct Force Selection option. Terrain will always be "Pot Luck" unless otherwise specified. There are no exceptions to this standard set-up for a match. If a match is set-up incorrectly for any reason then it must be re-started as soon as possible.

Players will need to have the base game, the Immortal Fire and the Rise of Persia DLC's, and you will also need to download the TT mod (v1.5.18) to enter this section. The TT mod (v1.5.18) is available here . . .
I see on the TT mod page
Paul59 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:53 pm The TT mod has now been updated to cover the latest 1.5.28 game patch.

This is only a minor update, the main point of it is to fix two small bugs that were noticed in the previous 1.5.18 version.
...
Should we be using the TT mod v1.5.18?
The version I have is v1.5.28, I'm guessing that's ok as it's just a minor bug fix

No, it is v1.5.28 as per the recruitment thread. I have updated the new Biblical thread that will open later today because it was erroneously showing v1.5.18. An oversight on my part.

The Tournament is now open!
