High Middle Ages round up

Very little to report in Division A this week with just a couple of matches completed. Wins for Tiavals and Jonathan4290 see them both move into the safer reaches of mid-table. ianiow with 3 straight wins is the only player who can catch ericdoman at the top and those two still have to play each other. A win for ianiow in that match would make things very interesting in the second half of the season.

In Division B, lydianed has completed a superb run of 8 wins in a row to win this division and deny the long-term leader BillMc. Voskarp could still secure third place while at the bottom steve-h8 and kmaher desperately need points to avoid finishing in the automatic relegation place.

Four players can still win Division C and everything depends on the results of the last games of Peterabb, zumHeuriger and kme37158. Peterabb has to play mcwar; zumHeuriger is facing tullius; and kme37158 faces a tough match against george123. george123 is further back in the table but he has 3 wins and just 1 defeat and he could still mount a challenge for the top position as he has already played Peterabb and zumHeuriger. The relegation battle involves tullius, Triaxe and mcwar at the moment. Exciting stuff in this division!

Division D is still wide open with 3 players having a chance of gaining automatic promotion. Cunningcairn has 7 wins and maximvs 6, but claytonengel is slowly emerging as a contender with 4 straight wins and no defeats. Cunningcairn just has portapenne to play; maximvs has fixtures against Greyhunter and Claytonengel; while Claytonengel still has to play Greyhunter, portapenne, Semaeon, maximvs and tofman04.

macsen (Bedouin Dynasties (Hamdanid of Aleppo) 964-965AD) 39/38, voskarp (Sassanid Persian (Khusrau 1) 22/22. A draw.

Average lancers weren't completely useless for a change, the horse archers almost ruined it all for voskarp but the elephants saved it for him.

Division B

macsen (Bedouin Dynasties (Hamdanid of Aleppo) 964-965AD) 21/38, defeated Ironclad (Lombard (early) 44/37.

A few lucky dice stopped Ironclad over whelming my right while on the left I had the good fortune of my Dailami facing average Saxons and no lancers, and that was the ddifference.

Had I not been lucky the last turn, I would've been rear-charged quite savagely on Jonathan's turn, so I won due to luck.
