Good game, finished in a day more or less. Not much happened until the last turns though.

Road to Hermanville 3pts - Allies
St German ville 3pts - Allies
Crossroads 1pts - Allies
Road to Caen 5pts - Allies
Abbaye D'Ardenne 5pts - Germans

Allies win 12-5.

Thank you for all of your votes Gentlemen.

Please consider Rule 4.64 effective as of now. If you wish to utilise it, it will be available for your June 10th orders.

4.64 Brigade Re-organisation. A Commander may exchange up to 16 units between two adjacent BGs, to a maximum of 8 units in both directions. This will consume one move from both BGs. A BG may only carry out one brigade re-organisation per campaign day.

Commanders Herr General CaveHobbit & General Lord JonCorcuera,

Begin your planning for June 10th...

Please let me know your provisional orders as early as possible, in case I need to release any new maps.

Feel free to post open questions here. Otherwise PM/email me any questions that might reveal your tactics to the enemy.

No promises, but 1-2 recon maps might be made available... PM/email me your private recon requests at your convenience...

Jon, you've forgot to update this in the OOB file: 6. 151/50 lands at Courseules merges with 5AL/6 Or did they drown while landing...

Good spot P-A,

The Allies thank the German High Kommand for their generosity of spirit (and for their rubber rings! ;-))

6 survivors of 151/50 now merged into the 18 units of 5al/6, retaining the elite brigade status.

By 'eck, after swallowing up 3/6ab, 69/50 & 151/50... 5al/6 is beginning to look like some seriously specialised anti-tank brigade... 2 paras, 4x PIATs, 3x mortars, 4x 17pdr, 4x 6pdr, 2 Fireflies... If they picked up enough transports to give their ATGs some mobility, some scout/recon ability, and some grunts to offer a field defence... this would be the one to hide in forest, to stop any Heavy Panzers...

Intriguing...

That was a hard battle. I did not do enough damage to them for you to have much of a chance. I assume his arty made the difference.

Brigade Re-organisation rules have been clarified, to respond to questions from one of the teams...
Rules & Regs wrote:4.64 Brigade Re-organisation. A Commander may exchange up to 16 units between two adjacent BGs, to a maximum of 8 units in both directions. This will consume one move from both BGs.
4.65 Each BG may only carry out one Brigade Re-organisation per campaign day, however, either or both of the BGs involved in a Brigade-Reorganisation may subsequently merge, ending the turn for that BG.
4.66 A BG that does not move, but that receives units as a result of a Brigade Re-organisation or a Merge, continues to defend its sector, and would be considered a fortified defender if it is attacked.
