The game started with two sides having set up in quite different formations. The Pyrrhic army was spread to cover the whole front, while the Parthians and their allies were concentrated on their left side with a very weak Pyrrhic force to face them. The terrain in the center was slightly in favor of the Pyrrhic army, having control of the dominating hill with very steep slopes to the Pyrrhic right side.
Parthian missile fire inflicted significant losses on the Pyrrhic army, but Pyrrhic cavalry managed to rout their light units before shooting all of their arrows. The Pyrrhic army managed to converge its left wing to the center, stopping the Parthians from setting a foot on the dominating hill, while a small Pyrrhic force on its right wing managed to stall the Parthian advance. The core of the Parthian army and its most elite units remained as a reserve during the battle, and the score would have been very different if they had engaged in full strength.
A nice match with rough and high terrain playing a key role in the victory.

The Egyptians were far stronger in the archery department than their opponents and this showed as I went into a strong early lead. This changed when the lines eventually clashed and the stronger Syrian infantry played havoc amongst my bowline, making it a costly victory. GG.

Both armies deployed the majority of their knights to the left flanks. This led to both gradually destroying their opposite right flanks. The penultimate turn saw the score tied at 35-35. I had managed to line up a couple of flank charges which went spectacularly well, gaining me 36 points! An abrupt ending to a tough fought game that I, at least, didn't see coming.

Solemnace Baltic Tribes 1050-1283 AD defeats NeroWolfe German (South/East) 1200-1319AD 62-30

The German cavalry smashed into the Baltic right inflicting major damage but was tied down for much of the game. The Baltic left however was able to surround and grind down the German Knights and open up the German foot knights to a major flanking attack from the baltic left which cracked their lines even as they broke the elements of the Baltic centre.

Nijis (Polish) defeats Karvon (Venetian), 64-43.

The first charge of the Venetian mercenary knights caught the Poles' lighter Lithuanian allies off-balance, and nearly won the day. But the heavier Polish forces caught the Venetians as they redeployed across the field, and slowly ground them down.
