That was odd, works over here.

Nope, that is not OK :D
I'll check if the Dutch got attached to the wrong faction...

Yes, the LW messages are left-overs from the 2v2 version. Will be removed.

thanks, now for the feedback, the game mod plays very well, time to play depends on the spec of the pc, but my 6 year old test pc played it fine with no issues, the AI turn is quite long, but saying that the game map is massive and so is the amount of units on screen at once.

not found anything else other than what's posted on the first play through, beat the Germans and got all objectives, so did better than history, mind you testing it i also played with the command to see everything on, so kind of cheated.

the AI plays very well and will again do this on another weekend on the next difficulty level and not have FOW off either and then comment, mind you played the battle so many times on so many different programs and versions and operating systems, kind of know what where and when most things should be coming or from where abouts,

only thing to add is i'd like the allies to have the rocket firing typhoons on map on the first turn, as they was called in earlier in the day, when the first tanks brewed up once fired upon by the hidden AT's in the woods on the first bend on the road, and it took me longer to recreate it and had already destroyed it, by the time the planes had arrived.

the map layout, the colours and units used all seem really good, the engine is really stable, the mod well done, and again thanks for letting me test it, must admit tbh it's a great battle and if you push on hard, and don't worry to much about the flanks, the bridges aren't too far, but you pay a high price to get there, something which Monty wasn't willing to pay so didn't go as hard as maybe another commander would, while films and books don't do the tankers justice and everyone just thinks of the brave para's etc, imo it's not how it was and the tanks went as fast and as far as the infantry could keep up, on a single road, with air power doing as much harm as good as per normal with making hole in the roads to move out units which were there just to waste and slow down the advance. which again don't get much comments, as there's plenty of heroes in this battle same as many others who got overlooked, look forward to the next version and more of the same

Zak

I've sent you a PM with an updated version.
You should find this harder, especially the battle for the bridges.

That is really odd. I based this version on a 2vAI and it is not possible to do a double dutch there.
I'll take another look at it...

Does anyone have tips on the Norway 1940 scenario in the campaign 1939-40? The 2 supply ships to open the game are sunk no matter where I go within 5 turns. Where should they head to? And how do you get reinforcements? The 1 parachute drop to the supply area just north of Narvik gets wiped out trying to land on the city by 7 enemy units.

Are you sure you mean the custom 'Germany West 1939-40' campaign?
This contains 4 Norway selectable scenarios; Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Narvik.
It looks like you mean the official Blitzkrieg campaign which include 1 Norway scenario.

I've just started playing some of your custom campaigns, and they're great! Two little things I've noticed so far though. In the first mission of Germany east 1945, there's a weird glitch where multiple units can occupy the same space. It was in the southeast section of the map, I had an infantry there and a russian tank moved on top of it. And then next turn I moved my own tank on top as well... Maybe someone else had the same experience? Secondly in the Germany west 1939-40 campaign I noticed polish tanks are curiously immune to zone of control. This is probably just a misunderstanding on my part somehow. Still bit aggravating to have infantry north, southwest and southeast of an enemy non-recon unit only for it to happily scoot away and cut off my own units supply.

That's a rare (known) game glitch/bug to happen. Custom or stock content. Should fix itself after loading a former save-file.

The Poles have only speedy light tanks with quite the movement range (5 hexes in the open, even more on roads), and with the "track_light" chassis they're even unhindered by forests and such. I guess you were just outmaneuvered, my friend...

Heh there's no shame in losing to Poland. For fans of military science fiction they played an interesting minor role in a novel called "Ghost Fleet" that came out a couple years back. As for the overlapping unit bug, good to hear it isn't only me. Pretty minor issue all in all but thanks for the prompt response on both counts.

Well, I may be mistaken, but for me, according to what you've written, it looks like this:

1. First of all, you must see if you have already some units at disposal in your reserve roster. If not (or if yes but you do have enough CP, i.e. Command Points, to manage more units AND enough RP to "buy" or "repair", etc. ), then you must select the "Purchase" option and make wisely your choices. :D

2. Then you have to deploy your units on the map by clicking on them (on your reserve roster) or directly after you purchase them (there is a button for this option - you'll see this easily once in the "purchase menu") and then click on the map. This latter can only be made on the hexes that are highlighted once you've selected an unit...

3. Then, all that's left to do is to slip under the General-in-Chief's hat and lead all the available troops in the best possible way! :D

:!: And don't forget: A Norway scenario, it's about an invasion! You can't go with almost no unit at all, otherwise it's a failure (in terms of assault, of course) for sure!
And supply ships are meant to support the landed troops (by supplying them) or the troops that are about to land, like on beaches or something. There is no way these ships should move alone...

 Maybe take a look at this video (for example), for it may already give some hints (and it is said that a picture is worth a thousand of words  ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siD_W5c ... dex=2&t=0s
