Thanks Guille, that's really good news as just 2 oil tanks for the price of 1! The 10,5 was a Wehrmacht standard throughout the war, and as we are thinking about a corps I usually keep two of them in core at least until late '42 - in early '43 I replace 1 of those against a Wespe.
By the way - could You imagine to make also the 10,5 lFH 18M as a variant? Only slight changes, the biggest one should be the muzzle break, and it enhances the range from 3 to 4 hexes...?!
I have also some other Wehrmacht artillery pieces in mind that would be nice to have, but thats a different story

Oh, yes, the pack I am working on comprises the leFH 18M variant... It is a matter of adding the muzzle brake and you have the new variant. I just wanted to surprise you, but... Here you are!

Oh, cheers to You!!!
...and by the way - have You ever thought about creating a "Kettenkrad"?

The Sdkfz 2 Kettenkrad is part of my projects pending... One of my "big" projects is to create a "Fallschirmjager Corps" unit pack, where this unit will be the tarctor vehicle for the light towed guns used by the parachute forces, for example 2cm Flak, 7,5 cm artillery, towed Nebelwerfers, etc... So, basically, you will see one icon for it sometime...
Now, back to the artillery departament... Because it was asked by some of the people here, here is a renewed version of the 10,5 cm leFH18 icon, in direct and indirect fire modes, and painted in the regular assortment of camo schemes, compatible with the Elite Units Mod.
I hope you find good use to it!

After the 10,5 cm leFH 18, you also can grab the modenized version of that gun, the leFH 18M, which basically added a muzzle brake, allowing the gun to fire using more powerful propellant charges, giving it more range with the same carriage.
Enjoy!

To round the package, here is the same artillery piece in the color of two foreign user, which are important in the PzCorps universe: Finland and Hungary. Again, I hope you find them useful and nice!
Cheers!

As wonderful as usual. Thanks a lot! At least one 10,5 cm lFH 18M will accompany my core until it gets wrecked at Seelow Hights...
About the Sd.Kfz. 2, this would also perfectly fit to a Gebirgsjäger corps as a towing unit. And unless we get it, a mule pack unit could do the job. If someone cares for the icon, i could ask one of my donkeys to act for the sound file

Thanks for the leFH 18s!
Guille, do you have that grey texture of the Kätzchen APC available to share? I'm looking for a proper grey texture to "recolor" German units. The DCS RGB-colorization typically doesn't produce great colors, but a fine standard texture could do the trick much nicer.

Hi boys! Thanks for the nice words about that 10,5 cm gun! I am glad you liked it!
Horst: About an "absolute PzCorps vanilla looking skin", I think you should ask jmacnamara, because he made the definitive Katzchen skin, and also he dedicated much more time to experiment with color matching techniques (he is pretty good at that). Anyway, I can offer you what I have made in the field of German skin files for DCS. After I finish a base icon, I start a trial and error process during which I see what skin is best suited to each base icon. So, may be you find some files that works well for you. Most of those color masks are "ripped" from vanilla game icons, and one or two, from jmac work.
Have a look at them:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/ub4tkl
It is all there. Everyone should feel free to download it and check its contents for something interesting.
Cheers! And thanks again.
PS: You were right about the SturmPz II "not vanilla looking" perspective, so there is a renewed icon in the works. Stay tuned and thanks for the feedback!

Don't get me wrong guille, all icons you make are always a great addition - but what exactly is the difference between the "Sturmpanzer II" you're making and the vanilla "sig33" icon? I thought these two vehicles were basically the same thing, no?
Please enlighten me about my mistake.
Thanks.

Thanks for the textures!
Some skins show as thumbnails but are missing and cause a crash:

Rezaf: Really, I was refering to the 15 cm sIG33 auf Panzer II (Sf), which is the same that is showed in the sIG 33 vanilla icon... I just used Sturmpanzer II, because I did not remember the real, complete and very long name... But in no means I wanted to talk about a new, previously unknown vehicle

Just a preview:

Horst: Here are the missing files...
The problem may have been be caused because I renamed the files, changing the spelling of "gray" to "grey"... I feel more comfortable with British English spelling than American, because thats the English I studied...

Sorry for the inconveninence!

Thanks! Yep, that perspective looks much better with the 15 cm sIG 33 auf Fahrgestell Panzerkampfwagen II (Sf), but I also call it Sturmpanzer II in my game.
PS: The length of the chassis is exactly the same as the one of the Panzer III G/H, just in case you want to have the proper scale.

Kinda funny that everybody posts their skins in this thread while hardly anyone ever did so in the DCS thread.
Ah well.
