A lot of terrain hampered the HI and cavalry on both sides. An unlucky disruption by an Indo-Greek pike while charging uphill against a MI unhinged a flank and that was the turning point. Thanks for the game.

Division B
Nijis (Hephthalites) draws with Karvon (Parthians) 47-49
The fierce Hephthalite tribal cavalry won some early skirmishes, but the Parthians were able to grab a strong defensive position on a low hill and hold the Hephthalites off with their more numerous skirmishers and unarmored horse archers. A mishandled Hephthalite attack was followed by a fierce Parthian counterblow, leading to a general melee that was going the Parthians' way until nightfall.

by Karvon
Division C
Karvon (Numidian with Roman allies) defeated GDod (Indo-Greek with Saka allies) 56-10 for a score of 4-0.
Battle was joined in a jungle clearing. Large swathes of jungle masked off the Indo-Greek left and our own right sector as well. Another large patch blocked off our left flank. A smaller patch lay in the center section of our deployment area with rough adjoining it. The crucial center of the field was divided by a large patch of rough ground in about the middle with a narrow gap of open ground to the right of this bordered by a narrow marsh, followed by another narrow open gap and then another patch of rough.
We opted for a infantry heavy force, taking our full allotment of legionnaires of assorted quality supported by a strong medium infantry group of Spanish, Gauls and Auxilia to supplement our native irregulars to attack the expected massed Indian bow. We took a strong group of horse plus an elephant to counter expected cataphracts. We minimized our light foot and light horse as less useful in face of massed bow and little enemy light foot.
We initially hid most of our heavy and medium foot in and behind the patch of jungle just left of our center and in the large jungle on our right. Our light horse screened the open ground to the left, with our horse and elephant held back in reserve behind them a bit.
The Indo-Greeks deployed a line of bowmen supported by some other spear and light spear medium foot opposite the large rough patch in the center. A phalanx of two pike formed up on their right with some supporting bow behind them. A few light horse and horse formed up on their right flank. Some cataphracts were in the rear as a reserve.
Our plan was pretty simple. Our medium foot would tackle the large patch of rough ground while our own heavy foot dealt with the phalanx and supporting troops in the open gaps. Our horse would hold off the opposing horse with the aid of our elephant.
The battle unfolded about as expected; our superior medium foot smashed into the rough and ground down the opposing foot steadily, though a little more slowly than hoped. In the center, the Indo-Greeks pike and cataphract battled our foot and elephant to a standstill. On our left, our heavy infantry drove off the opposing horse and swarmed the other pike, which formed square in a futile attempt to survive the onslaught. Our light horse skirmished with an opposing group of enemy horse on the far left, keeping them tied up and out of the way for the most part. Our own horse we committed here and there to exploit gaps and break fragmented units. The Indo-Greeks battled valiantly along the line, but finally the cascading casualties proved too much and the surrounded pike and several battered Indian foot units collapsed, sweeping the rest of the army along with them.
The final scene...
