The bunker Montgomery is in needs to have suppression of 10+ to surrender.

I've been trying to figure out how/when/where you get Azul infantry in Grand Campaign 39-45?
Please enlighten me, thanks!

Azuls show up in 1941, if u went Operation Weserübung in 1939. if u went operation aufwartung(fictional finnland) u get some mean vikings.

I thought there should be traces in the Lua script but found nothing in the related 39 scenarios or the beginning of 41. Guess I have to go back in time and give it another try.
Thanks!

In 41 Smolensk u get either 2 Azuls or 2 Grenadiers with Felix Steiner and Jürgen Wagner.

Are there campaign trees or scenerio pathways for each individual campaign with this mod?

I finished 1942, and when I do 1943, the option to import my core pops up, but when I do 1943 NH, it does not. I seem to recall some discussion of a fix as to this issue, but I could not find it. Any suggestions?

According to the campaign tree, the non-historical branch of the Africa campaign leads to 1943NH. There's a workaround if you don't want to go that route.
- Locate the saved core files directory. /Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps 2/Cores
- duplicate "end_of_GC1942_1" file
- rename the duplicated version to "end_of_GC1942fic_1"
- start 1943NH as a new campaign
load saved core option should be there.

1942 has 2 endings. if u stay in stalingrad u get a core for 1943. if u leave stalingrad u get a core for 1943NH.

How to change cores has been posted already if u don´t want to redo the ending of 1942.

Thomas

Great mod, enjoyed every scenario, but some units seem unbalanced: pioneers are worse than grenadiers in every situation and cost 1 more core slot; mobile artillery (like the Sturmpanzer) has only 1 range; and heavy fighters seem better at dogfights than standard fighters

thx for the feedback. the units are constantly in a flow, some are still off.

to pioneers:
they are a support unit to assault heavily dug in units.
Grenadier with Pioneer support:

Grenadier with no support:

Sadly in PC2 there is no diffrence between close support vehicles and mobile artillerie. Vehicles like the StuG or Sturmpanzer are used as infantry support vehicles. there job is to dig out enemy infantry and supportfire on the enemies turn.
Mobile artillerie are units like Hummel.

Air is still work in progress.

Thomas

Maybe just reduce the slot cost for pioneers to match the grenadier standard. The Sig 33 and Sturmpanzer, if kept at a range of 1, should also cost less (both in slots and prestige), as they currently lack a clear role (stug is cheaper and better). Of course, it’s your mod, so the final decision is yours.

"Should I choose the Nebelwerfer, StuG III, or neither for the Maubeuge mission (1940)? I have 8 command points available and plan to take the Beurger and K5 later. Can I earn more command points later in the campaign?"
