Merci pour l'upgrade, j'essaierai dès que possible le début de la campagne US.
J'aime jouer avec des unités uniques mais je crains que le jeu ne s'y prête pas à long terme. Je m'explique, les unités de la campagne polonaise n'ont pas toutes combattu dans toutes les batailles des Grandes Campagnes. Le concept est excellent pour un scénario isolé mais dans une grande campagne ?
Si tu veux créer tes unités historiquement en fonction de la bataille, tu risques de te retrouver au fil du temps avec une réserve impressionnante dans ta core-force. Le premier exemple est la Division SS LAH qui est mise en stand-by pendant les opérations de Norvège et qui ne peux donc être utilisée historiquement les trois derniers scénarii de la GC 39.
De ce fait, lors du déploiement, le joueur devra être aiguillé sur le choix historique à respecter.
Comment as-tu envisagé la suite de la GC 39 et des GC suivantes ?

I love playing with unique units but I fear that the game does not lend itself to long term. Let me explain, the units of the Polish camapign do not have all fought in all the battles of the Grand Campaigns. The concept is great for a single scenario but in a grand campaign?
If you want to create your units historically based battle, you risk finding yourself over time with an impressive reserve in your core-force. The first example is the SS LAH Division which is put on stand-by during operations in Norway and therefore can be used historically the last three scenarios of GC 39.
Accordingly, during deployment, the player will be referred to the historic choice to be respected.
How have you considered the following of the GC 39 and the following GC?

Hello Yves,

We can do almost everything with te core units now. We can delete them out of the coreforce in a scenario and give them back in an other campaign if we want. It's also possible to give the player information not to use a unit in a campaign and give them a prestige penalty if he still place the unit. But it is a lot of work! For every historical correct unit a number of new graphics and data has to be made. It is imposseble to make every unit that was there on the battlefield.

We have to find a balance. It is nice to have historical units with there own badges. It will be a mix of this units and for example Artillery units who can have a upgrade by the player. There are so many scenarios in the game that it will be a lifetime job to fix them all.

Anyway, to do some fast work on the scenarios, first the databases must be fixed. I am now fixing the databases with graphics and new units. Becausse I made al lot of unit graphics in the past I can speed up a bit. Because of the new transports added more and more scenarios will have transport errors. This will be all fixed and can be fixed in a few days, but.....first all countries need there new transports in the database.

So the next updates will not give new scenarios, but are graphic and data updates for units. If you start te first scenario´s of Allied Campaign now you can see new transports and units.

Remember the GC39 Poland Campaign is to show what is possible in the game. This mod is not finished but will grow and look better with every update. A long way to go. But as I said, if the database work is finished, new reworked Campaigns will show up. I have it all clear in my head, I (we) only need time :)

A question about the trucks in the game that be "Convoy" trucks and has to be destroyed. If you look at the unitscreen you see two trucks. How does this work with the editor?

En effet, il faudra s'accommoder du système imparfait de Panzer Corps si l'on désire jouer historiquement.
Je m'étais rendu compte de l'énorme travail que tu fournis pour chaque scénario et c'est pour cela que je t'ai demandé des précisions sur la suite de l'Aventure.

Indeed, it will live with the imperfect system of Panzer Corps if one wants to play historically.
I had realized the huge work that you provided for each scenario and that's why I asked for clarification on the following Adventure.

A fantastic mod with great attention to detail, excellent work. Please keep up the splendid work! :D
Some remarks so far:
- The text message in the first mission about "Super-Rudel" at the beginning of turn 2 should be removed, because there is no Rudel. :wink:
- In mission 3 (Lodz, I believe), on Pz II C of the 10th Army has no flag. :!:
- All the Polish Renault R 35 have French flags. :roll:
- The Polish sentrys in the Warsaw (south) scenario have Italian flags. :roll:

Hello maho1973,

I can't find the "Super-Rudel" message you are talking about. Beginning ot turn 2 "Poznan" scenario?

The things about no flags or wrong French/Italian flags is a graphic/database thing. Working hard on that. Slowly all this little errors will disappear out of the mod with coming updates as the work on the database and graphics progress.

Update v004 online now

Play the Allied Corps "Desert rats" Campaign. The first 4 scenarios are reworked a little. Have a look also for the updated unit graphics.

New units in the game like RAF Hampden and Beaufighter torpedobomber (1942)

(I realize the updates are small, but to keep the project going, people have to see the progress. When we reach v010 I make one update v000-v010 and remove the small updates)
