New update. We have the 2.4 version here :

In the column Autobreak as the generals and fortified camp doesn't need this value, their identity is recalled

:D

Nationality vs Language

Perhaps an English to US translation is in order, otherwise there will be some minor confusion over such terms as "que" versus "line", etc. (Some comments need to be taken with a proverbial "grain of salt", this one will require the entire shaker.)

Not an Excel clone, but OpenOffice Calc works fine with the spreadsheet.

Hi,

There are a couple of bugs I came across in the calculator.

I entered a unit of superior Knights - 4 stands. The calculator gives the auto break point as 2. However, the auto break for superior is >50% (greater than not equal to or greater than - see glossary) so this should equate to 3.

The Deployment number break down at the top includes the encampment which is obviously deployed separately so should not figure in the calculation.

Thanks

Nick

Witch version did have you?
I tested my last version and I didn't have any bug you find
Are you sure to put a number in the order of march for the KN and none for the camp?
Anyway, I send a new version today for downloading. Lighter for non competition players and friendly for lazy wargamer

The version 2.5 is online :

- Information concerning the tournament is gathered in only one stringcourse.
- A column was added to facilitate the work of List-Checker.
- The deployment of the BG accepts now up to 36 different BG.

Etc...

The direct link :

Thanks Olivier

Thanks for all your work on this!

Where can I find a list of acceptable terms/abbreviations to use in the boxes. Often the word I type in is rejected, eg typing in "lance" in the impact weapon box.

Am I missing something obvious?

For all of the categories except "Troops" and "Number of bases," you don't need to type anything at all. Just use the handy drop-down menus that Olivier has very thoughtfully provided - simply click on the box you want, then on the little arrow that appears on the right side of the box, and then on the text you want to be entered there. :D

Scott

What is "book order"???

I can't seem to get pre-battle initiative to work for some reason...it did in the earlier version.

Same here, on both counts. Ther PBI figure appears to remain at "0" regardless of what is entered in the rest of the spreadsheet.

Rats, just got the new 2.5 version and cant get it to open under Open Office, the previous version I have been using, 1.7.2 worked fine after making the 2 string changes from the earlier page, but they don't work with 2.5.

cheers

My Fault!
I think I'm now ready to work for Microsoft... I forget too many times to cross check my different change!
It's repaired now and the good version will be uploaded this day!
The new column "Book order" is for an easier check for List Checker, if you have a better name, I' m buyer :)
As somebody want a friendlier calculator, I'll upload a version without any info concerning tournament .
