I have nver played a game like this before. The majority of the battle took place in plantations and on steep hills.

Bah, just found out I lost

Rough terrain seemed somewhat preferable than facing rows of archers and cats in open terrain! I wonder if I'm in a unique position of being the only general to use artillery. I was pleasantly surprise how large the losses were for your troops, particularly the light horse, but the downside was that I don't think it actually caused any more damage than the odd disrupted unit. Oh hum, maybe next time

My dance card is getting empty. Is there anyone out there in Div B who wants a go against my poor runned down, runned over Sassanids?

Visigoths deployed in long line allowing Dacians to concentrate and completely destroy the Roman allied left before the Visigoth right could really enter battle. On the Visigoth right, Dacian archers used their homing missiles to disrupt the advance, and along with local counterattacks in rough terrain, rout a few units.

Lydianed (Ancient British) 29/41 bt. Okie (Foederate Roman Eastern) 40/38

Brits adopted a defensive line on a ridge which the Roman tanks threw themselves at with minor losses on either side. The decisive battle took place in a marshland on the British left where MF and LF combined to bog down (see what I did there) and overwhem their opponents. Thanks for the game.

Lydianed (Ancient Brits) 15/41 vs Warmonger (Bosporan Later) 47/47

Brits took early control of the battlefield and reduced the opportunities for the lancers to come into play. The British MF stuck to the rivers, marsh and woods and were able to pick fights mostly on their own terms. The Bosporans brought a lot of light troops and protected cavalry that the British were able to push back across the board. By the time the lancers got involved, the british were round the flanks and were able to set up some nasty rear charges. Thanks for a good game Warmonger
