Not sure how many unfinished games there are.

I am just finishing my last game with lydianed. We should be on the last turn.

Dominant feature was the line of trees and ponds stretching across two-thirds of the battlefield. Byzantines parked their squishy troops in there and made it hard for the Goth lancers to make their way thru' the unfavourable terrain. Massed Byz cavalry on the left wing broke the smaller Goth force. Honours even on the right flank but the slow moving Goth HF couldn't make contact with the more nimble Byz cavalry and make their presence felt.

Elsewhere Solly has defeated me (he can have the joy of writing that up) and my game with Uheng is close to finishing but I've not heard from Chris in a couple of days. Are we nearly done now? Looking forward to the return matches. Note to people picking Byzantines - the big, expensive Heavy Artillery is something of a white elephant. you probably all knew that but thought I'd share...

I have been traveling so I was having spotty internet coverage, but i sent my turn to you yesterday. It's been a fun game and I must admit that the artillery was a surprise. As was the attempted ambush on my right flank. Luckily fate was with me and I went no where near those woods.

The rebels anchored their position on a large hill in the center of their deployment area. They place the stolen piece of hvy artillery on the back side of the hill to surprise the loyalists. A rolling fight took play around the hill seeing the loyalist victorious. In order to finally rout the rebel force the hill was assaulted with overwhelming force. rebels decided they were on the wrong side, laid down their weapons and begged for mercy.

The reason you couldn't see it is because that sneaky iandavidsmith got in there and accepted your game even though it wasn't his! I've resigned from all of the games (that's right, so my inbox records 4 defeats!) and have reposted them. Fellas, pay attention:
