Jon i think there is a mistake in my lást récord should be 7 wins 2 lost 1 in play, since i won the battle against jt with allies and me with germany. Unless i have missed some loss in the way wich could be perfectly as well.

Lucky Great start for me and from there JT couldnt recover.

I've just surrendered to joncorcuera (Allies) on Sword Beach.

I have two games in progress against k9mike, two against Leci and one against morge4.

Morge4 heavily weighted his left flank and had me well out of position. Looks like he'll win that one.

I'm feeling rather outclassed in this tournament, I must admit. I'd like to think I'm learning something but... old dogs and new tricks...

No worries JT... I find you a tough and wily opponent... and you might be surprised that you're probably younger than several of the "lads" in the tourney...
JC is pretty rampant when he gets going... I have no idea how he does it, fighting with probably the most buggy iPad connection in history... It would drive me nuts!!

The battery from my dear iPad is driving me crazy, but a friend of mine is going to change it so allelujah from the next weekend On i Should be a happy men and with good internet conection in Madrid, since i have been in a small vilage in La Rioja for 2 weeks, so the conection was @&€@&@€&¶!!! But that should be over from next week On.
Mr. Tindal you should have won the battle but the lucky naval bonbarment in the forest gave me a big advantage at the beggining of the game taking so fast the center and from there On the next bonbarment killed your 88s. So it was luck...

I'm also up for another round of painful lessons. Jon - I do suggest we limit the numbers since the time to complete increases significantly with each participant. By the way, despite time differences I'm completing at least one full turn a day for Leci, Mike and Morge, so should finish these games by the end of next week at the latest. I still think I have to start one?

And finally, thanks for your tips posting - I have learnt lots from this tourney and humbled by how much more I need to know. I felt like an amateur at Wimbledon - my opponents seem to know the right ranges, the optimal combination plays and where I can and will move before I do!

in my current game against k9mike, I'm Allies. I'm almost off the beach at the western end. Immediately southeast of the bunkers there is a T formation of long grass. My post relates to the tile that is the stem or base of the T. I was ambushed from something around about there so wanted to fire into it with an adjacent squad. I could not target it. Neither could a nearby MG. I have good morale and shots left, so the only logical conclusion is that there is an invisible shield put in place by Fascist-Friendly Aliens.

Alternatively, perhaps the author of this fine scenario could check the code and see whether there's something odd with the coding?

I don't know how to post screenshots I'm sorry but perhaps Mike could confirm?

Oh, I don't know about that Jon - just turned 51 last month. Been gaming for 30+ years and still have a chronic disease known as "rashness", with frequent flareups of "stupidity".
