If we are doing corrections it is Dave Parish with one R (also a common mistake - the Parrish's are more numerous than us)

Suggest you put 2014 announcements in the 2014 thread.
I have moved the posts from Don (Clevedon) and Bob (Oxford) .

Since there's room for 30 it shouldn't be a problem.

Well the FoGR Southern One day League has reached it's climax and after 5 epic rounds the overall winner was Alasdair followed by myself in second with Pete Dalby 3rd and Dave Allen 4th. Pete Dalby has kindly donated a trophy to pass on each year to the winner - do we introduce a "World Cup" rule that says if anyone wins it 3 times they get to keep the Trophy? - Alasdair's trophy in 2015?!
Fantastically, over the year there were 50 players many of whom were experiencing FoGR competition for the first time. 12 players completed 4 or more rounds to get a full score - not bad for a series of events that spanned Clevedon to London and Southampton to Milton Keynes!!
The final results are detailed below.
There will be a re-run in 2014 so please keep an eye on the 2014 Southern league thread for full details of the individual events. There will be 5 rounds again as follows:-
1. Clevedon - 23rd March
2. Oxford - 27th April
3. London - June/July
4. Southampton - September
5. Milton Keynes - November/December
so that ends 2013 - thanks to everyone who organised an event but most importantly, thanks to all the players that entered. We hope you have enjoyed your tabletop battles and we look forward to seeing you again in 2014 - can we break the 50 entrants barrier again?!
