I tried to get it done by simply loading a scenario using the map I wanted to use in the editor of another copy of the game that used the other mod, but that only caused the editor to always crash after a few seconds. I guess because all the stuff included on the map (units, countries) don't exist in the editor.

I'll start with the obvious that what mod a and mod b have in common, it shouldn't cause a crash of the editor ( a tile mod, a flag mod, an equipment mod,.. i'm sure you get it)
What is different between mod a and mod b will very likely cause the scenario to crash in the editor.
Practically, you need to load scenario x into mod a and remove every element of that mod which is not present in mod b.
From my own experience, i had this too. It was always the case when mod a and mod b used a different equipment file. So i loaded the scenario into mod a, removed all the units, saved under a different name and then loaded this scenario under mod b.

Does not take place in the Pacific but in Germany on the American side.

The question is: How to combine the scenarios and create the campaign or create a campaign from scratch?

I haven't seen any tutorials or guides on the forums.

Would someone be so kind as to make a guide for dummies?

UK WW2 wouldn't hurt either. Any new WW2 for that matter. Wonderful old game, find myself replaying the same campaigns that work on v1.3 over and over.

Guys there are so many mods its hard to figure out what is what lol... My question is this; Is there a mod that allows you to change colors of units? In PC2 I have almost every unit a different color according to use type. It would be great if I could do this for some of my PC1 units. Thanks All

Italy and Hungary could have fought on the German side, and Yugoslavia and Romania on the Allied side. It could be an interesting campaign, and the Allies could still have won even without participation of the USSR and the USA...
