Has all US units from the last preview, so if people wish they can have all vanilla US fighters in unique gfx. I put in the Airacobra as addition.

A note to the P47D: I use a late-war 'bubble' canopy for it. Earlier series looked more like the B version.

Indeed, the P47 "Razorback" and the P51-B Mustang "did not" have bubble canopies. The Bubble canopy was developed because of the "blind spots" caused by the older canopy designs.

The only pic I recommend to use twice is that for the Spitfire Mk.I, which is also intended for the Mk.II in-game, since these don't differ that much. All other versions have unique gfx.

I used a "clipped-wing" variant for the Spit MK.V with wingtips cut off to increase roll rate - done on a number of them.

There are two versions included for the Tempest, I made the Mk.V first, but then noticed the game uses the Mk.II with a different look due to its radial engine. Since the V was already completed I decided to include it too, maybe someone wants to mod it in.

Great stuff. I have used the US variants in Maelstrom and they look great in-game. Cheers.

uuuuuhhhhhh...lovely...I am envison some need for these in a specific mod which really would treat them with tender loving care...some Stuka maybe ? and a HS-129 ?...and one or two neat Bf-110 ?..hmm...getting carried away

All these are works of art just one thing for some ungodly reason i cant download anything from gamefront im just totally locked out from these threads but when i go in through regular internet i get in fine any mirriors you could provide or alternate dl sites i really want to enjoy this. thank you for all your work you do for this game

bt2steam: Yep sometimes gamefront has trouble, but I thought it works overall ok these days? If your really can't dl at all please say so, then I'll provide a mirror indeed, but maybe it was just a temporary issue...

yeah..thats just great ...maybe one D and a G with 3,7 cm cannons (Rudels plane..most successful pilot in human history) would be aswsome so I could make up a uniqe wing with wing insigna and stuff

OK, what's up ? I have tried many times in the past 2 months to download from GAMEFRONT with no success. I use IE and can download from evryone else and I would/desire to use some of the mods posted on said forum.......

Try with a different browser.
The issue is that other hosting sites have a limited time for hosting the files. If the files isn't download for any chance for a 30 day period, it will be erased. GameFront also have limit, but it seems to be more extended.
Otherwise will end up uploading the files again ands again. Unless you buy a monthly account, of course.
Another advantage is the size of the file. GameFront allows big files.
