Hi, Rezaf. I've noticed that when I enabled the Campaign & Mods, they are all visible in the JSGME's Enabled Display but the Historical Insignia and AT&AA are grayed out. I tried the following:
1) Disabled all mods and then re-enabled PGCM, HI, RSM. Still ends up with default Poland map.
2) Disabled all mods and then re-enabled PGCM. In JSGME Enabled Display, its not grayed out but again default Poland map.
3) Deleted the entire folder "PG Classic Mod" from my game directory and copied-and-pasted the original "PG Classic Mod" again. Still no go.
4) Checked the "campaign.pzdat" via Excel, 1st Line Start Tutorial, 2nd Line Poland 47.
The PGCM version is 0.14. I would really like to play this campaign but I've run out of ideas as to how to activate it. Would appreciate any advice. Prior to installing your campaign and the other mods, I had patched Panzer Corps to Ver 1.02. Just some questions, do I need to patch Panzer Corps to 1.01 and then to 1.02? Was it OK for me to patch it directly to 1.02 as I did? Do I need any special files like a customised efx.pzdat for PGCM? Thanks in advance.

Hmm. Really don't know what to say.
If in campaign.pzdat, it says 47, starting a new campaign properly must take you there and cannot take you to the standard poland map.
Sorry to ask, but are you SURE it's the original Poland map?
PGClassic also starts with a Poland map, followed by Warsaw and then Norway or Low Countries and so on.
Otherwise, I'm clueless what your error might be.

Hi, Rezaf. I've never played Panzer General before but I assume the Poland map must be different from the Panzer Corps? I get the exact same units, objectives, when I played my earlier default campaign. Anyway, I may do a re-install of Panzer Corps to see whether that fixes the problem. Appreciate all the advice given. Hope to get this mod up and running soon.

Yes the first Poland map is different. It's smaller. Although at first sight might look similar.

The PGCM has not been updated to 1.01
It is missing many units. Like engineers and Free French.
That is your problem.

Why should that be a problem Razz?
My campaign does not make use of the new units AND replaces the equipment file with that of 1.0 (or a modified version of it).
I really need to get my act together and release the new version with updated 1.01 equipment, though. We'll see.

It's working with 1.02.
The problem is not related with the game version.
But if it uses a different equipment table, with different units, it will not be compatible with Razz's patch or any other mod who uses a custom equipment table.
Only if the two tables were merged, right?

The value in campaign.pzdat should be 46, rather than 47. The scenario numbering starts at zero, rather than 1, which may have caused the problem.
If you disable the mod, edit the file in the custom folder, then enable the mod it should work OK.
I tested it and it worked for me - the map was clearly similar to the old PG1 opening scenario.
The Warsaw briefing seems to indicate the start of hostilities but they are already underway by then. I assume this will be part of the briefing and pzloc update process.
[Edit]: I take it all back. The numbering in rezaf's campaign.pzdat is completely correct. However, the Poland scenario, which the front screen uses to determine which scenario to use is set to 46. All the "Classic PG" data should be transferred to here for that slot to work but leave its name as "Poland".
Is there only one place (the first post) where this campaign can be downloaded from?

Well, StartTutorial points to label 1, so I'm PRETTY sure you're wrong and the numbering starts at 1.
Also, the fact that nobody else appears to have had a problem running the campaign seems to indicate that 47 is indeed the correct number.
But what do I know.
Edit: Well, unless the devs actually changed the numbering scheme of the campaign file in 1.01 or 1.02, which I can't check just now as I'm not at home. If so, that'd be a somewhat questionable and illogical move, but anyway.

Thanks for all the replies. I re-installed Panzer Corps again. Without patching, enabled just PGCM via Generic Module Enabler and even though PGCM is highlighted in the "Activated Mods" window, still got the default campaign map. So I patched to 1.02 and attempted El Condoro's advice on editing "campaign.pzdat" to Start Tutorial at 0 and Poland at 46, ran just this mod in GME and still no dice. As PGCM is not running for me even when Panzer Corps was not patched to Ver 1.01 or 1.02, then I guess I the only one having this problem. Can't figure it out. As an aside, as I've never player PGCM, are the German units for the Poland scenario exactly the same as the default Panzer Corps campaign scenario? How can I tell whether PGCM is really activated or not? Anyway, I guess its not meant to be. Thanks again, I guess I'll carry on with the default campaign again.

It's easy to see if it's activated or not... the briefing text is smaller and it is different.
Post your folder structure in the MODS subfolder. You mustn't have installed it correctly. The folders might not be in the place where they should be.
I don't give up easily.

What's your briefing text before the mission?
What units do you start the mission with?
How's the terrain?
Alternatively, it should be fairly easy to compare - start a campaign and look at what you see, then drop back to the main menu and start the standalone scenario Poland. You should see completely different levels in case the campaign was installed properly.

Is the first post of this thread the correct place from which to download this campaign?

Yes it is.
What alternatives were presenting themselves?

No, there weren't any but I was wondering if I was picking up the files from the right place, especially as this thread is now 7 pages long. Today I installed the campaign on a completely vanilla setup and it ran as it should, although the text was for the standard PzC Poland campaign rather than the PG Classic text - that would be easy to fix as I outline above. So, there is nothing wrong with the campaign - it must be the setup of the GME or some conflict causing the issue - something I think we already knew.

rezaff, what you feel adding an image to your mod in the campaign menu?
If you like my suggestion I can send you the files.

VPaulus, that is real nice looking. I know I want it.

You can send me the files; I wouldn't mind updating my copy of his mod.

Also, this is such a good idea, you might make the process known for the other modders; I'm sure some of them would love do something like that for their own mods.

Hi, all. (Cap in hand) As some of you have already realised, I goofed up my installation of Panzer Corps. The game itself ended up in a subfolder "F:\Panzer Corps\Panzer Corps".

Dragged-and-dropped Rezaf's mod into the folder and no wonder the Generic Module Enabler couldn't run it. El Condoro, many thanks for the screenshot of your installation, it helped me sort out my mistake. I've reinstalled Panzer Corp correctly now but it was so late at night, I had to hit the sack. Will be installing all the mods PGCM, HI, RSM, when I get home tonight. I'm pretty confident that it should work, I'll post when I get PGCM running. Many thanks to all in this community for their help and advice, its deeply appreciated.
